Well sa school po namin, maraming majors at isa dun eh filming o video production.

Mga subjects po namin sa school namin (APC) eh painting, free hand drawing at kung anu ano pang TRADITIONAL ARTS. Sabi nila you don`t need to be excellent in drawing pero mas maganda kung atleast may experience ka na sa pagddrawing or practice practice kasi nakakalula lalo na `yung mga kaklase mo eh magagaling--competition talaga sa skills.

Meron din pong digitals arts and designing. Game authoring and coding, 2d/3d animation and modeling. Film, video and sound production at kung anu-ano pang multimedia art subjects.

Naeenhance naman po ang filming sa amin kasi pwede mo siyang imajor pagdating mo ng 3rd year ata. Akswali, meron ding mga contest at kung anu ano pang weeks. Pwede ka sumali dun. Sa katunayan, sumali kami ng kaibigan ko sa SOMA Awards which is parang Oscar awards tapos puro MMA students ang gumawa ng film:

Wow, thanks. Sana magkita tayo sa APC kung dun ka man mag aaral ahihi! Masaya naman dun medyo mabilisan lang talaga di tulad sa iba na may prelims pa. Sa APC kasi is midterms agad tapos after 4 weeks ata finals na at hindi kami masyado on written. Kumbaga kapag kailangan oral, oral talaga at kung kailangan skills, skills talaga. Ayun. Kasi sabi po sa Admission Center ng CSB, di daw available ang AB Animation for this second semester.
Gusto ko sana ang animation kaso ganun naman.
Any suggestions po?
Gaano po kalaki ang pinagkaiba ng AB MMA at AB ANI sa CSB?

animation is a different discipline from mma. while there would be basic animation classes as you go on in mma (in the third year iirc), kaya nga ginawang separate course ang animation kasi you need more than 3 classes to be able to understand even a tiny bit of animation principles. so why not wait until you can apply in the animation course. you can take up a drawing/basic animation class in the meantime

I'm planning to take MMA in csb until I found out about DLSU-D's BS Graphic Design and Multimedia. What's the difference between the two?

Really? Lagot. Nilagay ko pa naman sa 2nd choice ko yung AB Animation. I'm a transferee applicant this coming 2nd term. If ABANI's not available then useless lang yung pag indicate ko nun.

I'm a senior student taking up MAS (Multimedia Arts and Sciences) in Mapua. Questions are very much welcome. PM me or ask me here

And here pala, someone PM-ed me about MAS several months ago, I feel bad na hindi ko agad nakita yung message para masagot pero here's my answer to her questions. Maybe you'll find them useful. The girl who PM-ed me asked about how MAS in Mapua is.

Actually hindi parehas ang math ng engineering and MAS If you're regular and you take up courses based on the curriculum, there's usually a separate section for MAS students which takes up lighter and more basic topics in Math, and stuff.

I'm actually a senior taking up MAS. I've managed to get half scholarship several times. Sa totoo lang mas mabilis makakuha ng high grades sa major subjects compared sa minor subjects like English, Math, etc. Hindi naman mahirap makakuha ng scholarship if you really try hard, And usually if you're a scholar pwede naman sabihin sa prof para may considerations if possible.

Sa tingin ko yung "tres lang pwede na" na sinasabi nila doesn't apply naman sa mga MAS (except for programming courses ) so wag ka masyadong kabahan.

And yung sa ratio ng boys and girls, true maraming boys talaga kasi nga engineering school siya pero hindi naman madalang ang girls. Parang normal school lang din. And hindi naman masyadong busy except for "hell week" which is usually yung finals week. You have to keep in mind din kasi na you'll have to finish everything within 2 and a half months compared sa regular colleges na 5 months ang buong term. Pero Mapuans still have free time naman.

I think you can adapt din. Just do your best and go with the flow!
