It really depends what you're going to use it for. If it's just for school, go for something light with a long battery life. For me, I think the Sony Vaio is a safe bet but HP comes a close second. At the moment, I'm using a Dell Inspiron (like the one in Gossip Girl hehe) but I'm waiting for the delivery of my Macbook Pro. teehee (I'm going to be doing film studies next year so I need the extra power )

What would be the best buy? An ASUS EEEPC or A Neo Basic 2160 N (or any other laptops you recommend)... I am an incoming Computer Science student, can you suggest any laptop which is not that expensive yet of good quality?

For now, I'm using my ACER Aspire M1610 desktop...

Yan yng maliit diba? Sabi sa amin nung saleman noon sa store na pinagbilhan namin ng laptop, kung schoolworks din lang, mas magandag yung mga laptops na maganda ang specs. Maganda din naman yung specs ng Asus, pero Comp. Science ka diba? So malamang, marami kang gagawin, tsaka di sapat yung 4GB memory ng Asus EEEPC.


Neo naman. Hmmm.. i don't mean to offend anyone, pero kung NEO din lang (based sa reviews sa internet) para ka na rin daw bumili ng basura.


Kung hindi ka naman gipit, you can opt for a Vaio or Mac. Great specs tas maganda pa ang performance, longer battery life tsaka sleek design. Diba?


Kung gipit ka naman, mag-HP ka na lang. Gipit ako e kaya HP ang gamit ko.  I am using the HP Artist Edition laptop. Maganda din ang performance ng HP, halos walang pinagkaiba sa Vaio and Mac. Ang specs ng akin is 250HD, 3GBDDR, Core 2 Duo (2.1GHz) and we bought this for only 71k. Plus, may Lightscribe, remote control and built-in na lahat. Sa specs na yan, pag bibili ka ng Vaio or Mac, aabutin ka ng 100K+. Sobrang tipid din sa akin yun kasi may design na ang laptop ko  di ko na kaylangang magpa-GMASK. 


Kung mas mababang specs naman ang hinahanap mo, may mas mura pa jan. Sa specs lang naman kasi nagkakatalo ang presyo e...minsan pati sa pangalan ng product

       i use an hp pavilion dv6000 laptop....it's been holding up quite well,pero halos maluha ako when i saw the limited edition hp pavilion laptops sa tv,yung may personalized na designs,ahuhuhu,kasi yung akin yung may black piano finish lang na may gray circles,cute naman pero mas cute yung limited edition designs.....in terms of performance wala namang glitches,15.1" screen,anlaki,medyo mabigat,pero other hp pavilion laptops are smaller.....

      honestly,gusto ko talaga sana sony vaio,pero eto yung nabili e,taga-tanggap lang naman ako,wala akong say,ahaha....

HP Pavilion laptops are very reliable. My college friends has them and they could type well since the keyboards are not that small. In fact, it is also good for gaming. Everytime we had breaks; all of them were busy playing with their HP Pavilion laptops.

Ang problema lang sa Sony Vaio is the "price". But I think it also makes me an "elite" techno society.
