We all like to think the world ends when we do. The truth is our acquaintances, our friends, and our loved ones all live on, and through them, so do we. It's not about what you had, but what you gave. It's not about how you looked, but how you lived. And it's not just about being remembered. It's about giving people a good reason to remember you.

lies dont fix things.they dont even make things easier,at least not in the long run.best to tell the truth and then clean up an honest mess.

"You think fairy tales are only for girls? Here’s a hint—ask yourself who wrote them. I assure you, it wasn’t just the women. It’s the great male fantasy—all it takes is one dance to know that she’s the one. All it takes is the sound of her song from the tower, or a look at her sleeping face. And right away you know—this is the girl in your head, sleeping or dancing or singing in front of you. Yes, girls want their princes, but boys want their princesses just as much. And they don’t want a very long courtship. They want to know immediately."

"I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there."

"We were friends," Oliver said. "I've known her all my life. I was her conduit. I loved her. I still love her. Not just because she's my vampire - it's more than that."
"How so?"
"I mean, I loved her before she even bit me."

"Vive la France! Vive l'avenir." --Jehan Prouvaire.
This is actually a sad line but for a timid person who showed intrepidness before his last breath, this was an inspiration to me.

"The history of men is reflected in the history of cloacae."
Now isn't this one very true?

Both lines from Les Misérables by Victor Hugo.

"I'm that way, goofy as it sounds. Sometimes I don't want things to happen—I'm talking about good things, even wonderful things—because once they happen, I can't look forward to them anymore. But there's an upside, too. Once a wonderful thing is over, I'm not all that sad because then I can start thinking about it, reliving and reliving it in the virtual world in my head."
