I missed this issue! Kasi ang binili ni mamee eh SugarSugar April ['cause The Click Five's on the cover and she knows I love them], but when I went to the bookstore to buy a copy of the May issue, no more. Oh well. I'm gonna look for past issues na lang sa Filbar's. Or let it go. Si Sam naman kasi cover eh.

Actually, NEITHER India NOR Pakistan had well-shaped identities at the time of Partition.
The fact that India stayed intact (despite issues) and developed some sort of an "Indian" identity and Pakistan is still searching for one, is really also a testament to the kind of leaders post partition.

India was fortunate to have leaders with universal appeal and largely uncorrupted values, who were committed to building "India" , which was not the case with Pakistan (post-Jinnah).
