Boys' Addiction: DOTA, COUNTERSTRIKE & Other Online Games

Once he gets to taste on performance cars, or expensive hobbies like airsoft

`yeah. My BF is more on like that, airsoft, race cars. nakakatakot kasi delikado lalo sa pagrarace. mas gusto nya mga ganun kesa computer games. kaya naman ako napaparanoid pag nakikipagrace siya with unknown guys.

mas gusto ko pa siya ma addict sa computer games atleast sa harap lang ng computer, pero ang hobby nya kasi mga delikado eh.. tss.. but now hindi na na masyado..  takot sa akin eh. haha..

Nah its ok, I've raced my car before and its not half as bad as one would think, and of course you earn respect from your fellow drivers. Airsoft is the same. The only point of concern is he has to put an initial investment in these kinds of hobbies, from tens of thousands of pesos for airsoft to millions of pesos on racing. Mahal talaga ang upkeep ng hobbies na ganyan. Sometimes its really cost effective to only do it once in a while.

Minsan feeling ko mas love nya pa dota. Pahirapan talaga magreply kapag naglalaro sila. like now, sa FB, pinagpalit nya yung picture namin sa picture ng dota as his profile pic. medyo nakakaselos. Pero sabi nga nila mas ok na dota ang karibal kesa ibang girl.

Hindi ako galit sa dotA. Promise. Dati. Okay nga sakin na nagdodota siya e. Ang kaso, may times na hindi na siya pumapasok para lang mag-dota. Hindi na tama yun diba? Medyo naiinis na tuloy ako sa dota na yan. :-P Pero

Pero sabi nga nila mas ok na dota ang karibal kesa ibang girl.

I think DOTA's something that entertains the boys but I think it really had a great impact to the boys. :3
Parang yun na lang lagi, Parang wala ng bukas kung maglaro.

I can't really relate to this coz I'm a gamer myself.
I got boyfies who were gamers as well. But sometimes, pag magkaiba
yung trips namen and I'll notice na he's getting addicted to it, I try to
play the game with him.

P.S. Whenever I meet a gamer-guy and become his girl, the guy starts to
lessen his game addictions because of me. Prob is I'm more addicted to gaming
than him, but he still find it cute.

Pero para saken, bad attitude ang addiction..
Dapat balance lahat ng bagay..
At dapat i-prioritize ang dapat i-prioritize..

It bothers me that guys play DOTA often.  But it's their thing, just like us girls are into stuff they won't understand. The guy I like has been playing DOTA for a long time now and I don't get it why hanggang ngayon, ang hilig nya dun. 

Pero siguro, it's wrong na if he seems to make that more important than the relationship. My friend used to be with this guy before and in school, talagang they're all over each other but once dismissal, he runs off to the nearest internet shop and plays DOTA. Kawawa nga yung friend eh. Not once has he taken her out on a date or have they really hung out a lot after school

I haven't experience that since I haven't been in a relationship pa. But my mga kaibigan din akong ganun din ang problems at iisa lang talaga ang sinasabi ko sa kanila. "Mas okay na yung sa DotA siya adik, wag lang sa ibang babae." Ha, easy for me to say.

Beneficial na rin ngayon ang MMORPG ah!  Pwede pang maging GM. Malay niyo maging profession pa nila ang pagiging adik sa games.

I don't get it kung paano nakakalaro/nakakatagal ng 6-10 hours ang mga guys. Baka nga more than pa. 
Yung sakin naman... kudos to him kasi kinakausap niya padin ako altho matagal siya magreply, nagrereply padin.  So yeah, hindi niya alam yun pero masaya ako na ganun siya kahit papaano.


But yun nga, iba na yun kung hindi mo na totally nakakausap yung boyfriend mo dahil lang sa games. Like for ilan days or weeks... That's a very different situation altogether.

^Because of addiction kasi. Once you started the game already mahirap na itong pigilan tapos lalo na kapag naglelevel up na sila sa game. Parang kasing achievement kapag may natapos ka na isang level.
