Souls of course, though if you would insist it's hell, then you don't know Judaism that much, since for Judaism there's no heaven or hell. All go to Sheol, the abode of the dead, so it doesn't matter in Judaism whether you're Moses or someone else; all go to Sheol.

If you like C.S. Lewis, he believes in Purgatory; he was almost close to becoming Catholic, though his only problem was accepting the Pope. His view on Purgatory:

I'm not sure what to believe yet. I'm still thinking about it. I'm really having trouble believing in a loving god sending bad apples to hell :/

True...purgatory is a place where a soul is being purified before entering into heaven... But there are some...as I have read..that they have entered heaven without going through purgatory...they went back to this world to proclaim the good news... Hey, no bashing ok?

I am really hoping of going to heaven, rest for a while, then get reincarnated!

I've heard that some priests preached that Jesus spent three days in hell. Not sure about that, though, since we were never taught about it. And I don't recall reading anything about it in the bible.

Actually, that's in the Bible, cf. 1 Peter 3:19, when it's recounted Jesus went to the spirits in prison. Not hell per se, since the description is more apt to Sheol.
