futile efforts by some people, i say.

here's my favorite part of the article:

"Newdow and other plaintiffs say they want to watch the inaugural either in person or on television. As atheists, they contend, having to watch a ceremony with religious components will make them feel excluded and stigmatized."

--------------

then that means I am also entitled to protest in secular activities because as a person adhering to a religion, i should also feel excluded and stigmatized when they don't put God in the picture?

lol. that my friends, is cultural relativism at its finest. the most vile and despicable philosophical doctrine of all times.

with the help of the powerful influence of the Holy Roman Catholic Church and the Christian churches of the United States, I believe that the self-absorbed motives of Attorney Newdow and the American Humanist Association, the Freedom from Religion Foundation will end in vain.

so help us God.

Atheists don't believe it God...So it's up to them not to take any oaths...It's not our problem(those who believe in God)...Or just don't mention the part "So help me God"...We can't please everybody, you know...hehe

Damn, my atheist persona is disgusted! I can never put myself on the same level as those atheists! Really, they soil the image of the atheistic freethinkers. So help them God!

they can just shut up when that part is being said. Or just raise an eyebrow  ::)
You shall no longer take things at second or third hand nor look through the eyes of the dead, nor feed on the spectres in books
You shall not look through my eyes either nor take things from me
You shall listen to all sides and filter them from yourself

i think it's fine. Ung iba kasi, they're using the name of God, but they are not living by the values that the church is implementing. Ewan ko, naguluhan ako. hehe
