There Should Be A Limit of 3 New Topics/Day for Every Member

I personally think the 15 posts rule has not been very successful in doing what it's supposed to -- that is to get people to read the rules. Just check out the Questions part of this board. They're all surprised and wondering why they can't post -- because they clearly have not read the rules. It also just goes to show that newbies would make new topics even if they're not very familiar with the existing topics in the boards.

Here's the thing... when these people reach 15 posts, they post new topics like crazy. Every so often, I would find a new member who's consecutively posting 5 new topics in Lovelife, 5 new topics in Body and Health, 5 new topics in What's Happening, etc. Out of the 15 new topics that he/she makes, only ONE is not redundant.

So I think that we should do something to discourage mass topic-starting. Just like in Yahoo Answers, people shouldn't be allowed to make more than 3 new topics in one day.

What do you guys think?

^Yeah, some create the weirdest what if scenarios to increase their post numbers... I mean, seriously... there are ENOUGH threads there already.

I agree with this one. I notice many teentalkers who abuse this privilege and it's annoyingly obnoxious.

Anyway, I think it's a good idea but it would be nice if people took the initiative and used the search function na lang. Less trouble for everyone.
