I made this thread kasi hindi ko alam ang further differences nila.
The basics lang are:

Laptops are
- handy/ portable

Desktop
- you can install more than one DVD drive (makes CD/ DVD writing/ copying easier)

So.. what else?

OT: You're online, Myks!

Anyway, yun din ang prob ko with my laptop. I have to use our desktop pa to burn DVDs or kahit to copy CDs instantly.

ɛïɜ ^ haha. yea. pero ndi rin ako magtatagal. i need to study. class is in two hours.

ayoko namang magburn sa desktop namin. it's so slow. we should at least buy a new CPU if we're not replacing everything.

Desktops tend to have more memory than laptops. :]

Laptops are portable. :)

haha. :) I really don't know.. :)

well, if you're going to buy one.. it depends on the way you're going to use it..  ;)

Definitely laptop. BUrning DVDs on my laptop isn't a problem. It has CD/DVD combo, can read and burn cd, dvds. =)

my laptop has better specs than the ones on my desktop but i still prefer a desktop for my everyday use, it won't matter if i had it turned on for 24 hours or so. laptop is portable.. yes indeed, i only use it for school works though. trying to risk for overtime use is too much for a laptop.

desktop

- you can use it 24/7 and it could still work awesome
- the screen is much better... well, i guess its because i'm used to monitors that isn't connected to the keyboard..
- much easier typing in the keyboard...
- you can install endless of drives

- big .. heavy
- prone to dust

laptop

- portable.. light.. you can use it anywhere
- the touchpad..

- touchpad's sensitive

I prefer laptop kasi nga very handy siya.

I think depende yan sa laptop mo. I can burn DVDs and CDs. And
mas gusto ko laptop kasi easier to use.
