Several Books at a time: one for my leisurse, one for school

Does sound/music bother you when you read?

In my study at Home

Do you read in the car/bus/train etc.?

Yes, but only when the road is smooth or if it is jammed.

Yes, especially the complicated philosophy books.

Any Book Pet Peeves? What are they?

Yes.

Books on:

Astrology

Gnostic Gospels Commentaries

Holy Grail Mystery

Do you highlight your books (Favorite quotes/lines)?

Yes.

Bookmarks or just folding the top corner of the page (dog ears)?

If the book is cheap, dog ears. If it's expensive, bookmarks or flags

Do you read one book at a time, or read several books at the same time?
Several

Does sound/music bother you when you read?
It depends on the music.

Where are you most comfortable reading?
In the library, at my workdesk/dining table sitting up or lounging on the couch

Do you read in the car/bus/train etc.?
No, it gives me motion sickness

Do you reread book? Which books have you reread?
I have reread maybe a couple.

Any Book Pet Peeves? What are they?
- People who deface a borrowed book by writing/highlighting notes or cutting out photos
- Folded pages
- Anything smeared on the pages...most likely chocolate stains
- Borrowing books and not even reading them by the time they're due because I'm busy doing something else or just can't be bothered reading it (happens to me so many times)
- Library fines
- Pages that have a weird feel on them
- Pages that have a different paper stock in the middle (usually those books with photos in the middle).  It's too distracting
- Books that have that weird jaggy texture on the sides to make it look more 'original'
- Books that have designs which are too arty-farty

Do you highlight your books (Favorite quotes/lines)?
I've just started highlighting my magazines for notes

Bookmarks or just folding the top corner of the page (dog ears)?
Haha, post-it notes!  So that I can make notes on what page/s I am marking.

Do you read one book at a time, or read several books at the same time?
-- One book at a time.  Unless I have to read a script for theatre.  Like right now, I'm on "While I Was Gone" and "The Vagina Monologues".

Does sound/music bother you when you read?
-- Not really.  The TV does, though.  I have to mute it out before I can read properly.

Where are you most comfortable reading?
-- My room.  School library.

Do you read in the car/bus/train etc.?
-- Oh yes.  But I can't on a boat LOL.

Do you reread book? Which books have you reread?
-- Yes.  CSI tie-ins.  Harry Potter 3.  The Stand.

Any Book Pet Peeves? What are they?
-- I do not like lending books.  LOL...
-- Books that are falling apart.  I have to reinforce them first before I read them.

Do you highlight your books (Favorite quotes/lines)?
-- Nope.  But I did a number on LotR -- want to see which lines the scriptwriters kept from the original literature.

Bookmarks or just folding the top corner of the page (dog ears)?
-- Bookmarks.  Actually, any piece of paper that marks where I stopped LOL.
RAGE and LOVE.

Do you read one book at a time, or read several books at the same time?

I am a 'monobookist'. I prefer to finish a book before starting a new one, because I usually lose interest or get confused if I read too many things at varying stages of completion all at the same time. If it's a magazine and a book, then that's another story.

Does sound/music bother you when you read?

Yes, it does bother me a lot, that's why I don't like reading in public, like Coffee shops. I read from around 11 PM until around 1-4am when it's really quiet. I'm very sensitive to sound, so the TV can't be on either.

Where are you most comfortable reading?

In my room, on my bed. Lying flat on my tummy with the book on my pillow.

Do you read in the car/bus/train etc.?

Nope. I can only stomach reading magazines in a moving vehicle.

Do you reread book? Which books have you reread?

Hardly ever. Unless it's one of those childhood favorites. The only book I remember rereading is A Wrinkle In Time.

Any Book Pet Peeves? What are they?

Torn Covers
Lending Books
Lugging around hardbound books

Do you highlight your books (Favorite quotes/lines)?

Sometimes I do. Other Times, I jot them down in a notebook or type them into a word processor.

Bookmarks or just folding the top corner of the page (dog ears)?

Dog Ears! I frequently misplace bookmarks.

Do you read one book at a time, or read several books at the same time?
I prefer one book at a time, but if it's class or something, I usually do
several at the same time. ie. one for English lit, one for politics, say 1984.

Does sound/music bother you when you read?
No. Not really. I like listening to my iPod while reading.

Where are you most comfortable reading?
In my room/bed. =P Or in the subway.

Do you read in the car/bus/train etc.?
Yup. In the subway/bus. I can't read in a car. I don't know why.

Do you reread book? Which books have you reread?
Yup. Especially if I like it. The whole HP series, books by Lowry,
Bob Ong, Atwood. And some other books in my shelf.

Any Book Pet Peeves? What are they?
People folding pages.

Do you highlight your books (Favorite quotes/lines)?
Nope. I write some down, though.

Do you read one book at a time, or read several books at the same time?
I'm definitely a monobookist. I can't stand reading several books at a time. It gets me a bit confused.

Does sound/music bother you when you read?
Yes! I can't read at noisy places. It's really hard to concentrate. So I read where there is absolute silence.

Where are you most comfortable reading?
I can only read comfortably on my bed. Sometimes in the bathroom while doing my thing  ;D

Do you read in the car/bus/train etc.?
No, I get headaches.

Do you read one book at a time, or read several books at the same time?
Several. Especially with school and everything, I'm always reading more than just one book.

Does sound/music bother you when you read?
Yes. I can read even when people are talking but their talk has to be pretty indecipherable :P

Where are you most comfortable reading?
On my bed

Do you read in the car/bus/train etc.?
Nope. I get motion sick.

Do you reread book? Which books have you reread?
No. I only reread books after a loooong time. The only book I've reread is the very first Harry Potter book.

Any Book Pet Peeves? What are they?
The fact that I can't write on borrowed books. I also hate stiff new books.

Do you highlight your books (Favorite quotes/lines)?
I don't use a highlighter. I write notes/reactions using a pencil.

Bookmarks or just folding the top corner of the page (dog ears)?
Sometimes, I use a bookmark. Most of the time, I just try to remember the page where I left of.
