He's not yet my boyfriend but I'm going to introduce him to my parents on my party next week. (I'm planning to say yes to him after he met my family. :p)
Mas gusto ko kasi yung ganun way ko iintroduce kesa yung one on one. I mean yung, pupunta sa bahay or something. Mas awkward kasi eh. Pero that's me. :p And I had a few boyfriends na before and this will be the first time na may ipapakilala ako sa parents ko. :p

hindi siya 'yung first bf ko but this time gusto kong maging legal kami kahit kay mama lang kasi mahirap kapag hindi.

So far, I haven't reached this point of my life yet but if ever I'll be facing this kind of situation some day, then I just have to be open with my parents that I already have one. And by the way, I dont allow "ligaw sa school" when a guy's into me. He also has to make an effort to make "ligaw sa bahay"... Like, he has to prove himself worthy for me in front of my mom and dad, too.

Anyway, mahihirapan talaga kayo sa pagpapakilala ng boyfriend niyo kung simula't sapul e di niyo ipinaalam sa magulang niyo na may manliligaw kasi kayo. Oo nga, it hurts less when your rip a bandage off quickly kesa dahan-dahanin mo pa, pero pagdating sa love life, lalo pa't unica hija kayo, dapat dinadahan-dahan niyo lang yan.

Let's face it; even if we turn thirty and get hitched, produce a dozen children or so running around the house and put up a company of our own, we'll always be kids in our parents' eyes. It won't be easy for them to accept the fact that we are growing up. It never will be. Believe me, my mother has made this clear to me zillions of times already. -___-

Hi girls I'm having the same problem.

Actually NBSB pa ko. 16 years old na ko ngayon and currently a college student. May guy akong nakilala sa school ko ngayon. Hindi kami kasi alam kong bawal ako magboyfriend, parang MU lang ganon pero 7 months na. Gusto ko ng gawing official sa birthday nya pero natatakot ako. My parents are really strict and over protective. Yung older sister ko na 21 years old na hindi pa rin ngkakabf(sabi nya ha). I don't think they're prepared to let go of us. Ang hirap din kasi, bawal ako lumabas as in school bahay lang lagi. Yun life ko since I started schooling. Ngayong college ko lang naranasan mag commute papuntang school and It's not even far away from my house. It's a 15-minute ride. I have to tell lies just to have a lunch date with this guy. Yung guy ko, sinabi nya na sa family nyang kami na nung christmas (advance eh xD) since sabi ko dati parang ganon na rin naman yun. Sinabi ko na sa kanya dati na baka hanggang MU na lang kami, and he said as long as I love him. He's not gonna let me go. I'm doing pretty good when it comes to studies. Help naman kung ano dapat kong gawin  Sobrang sarado isip ng parents ko when it comes to lovelife thingy. Ayaw nga nila na magdadala kami ng guy sa bahay.
