i'm Catholic but sometimes I take part in Christian Services.
I don't know if I consider this as loyal 'cause some of my friends told me na halos pareho lang daw ang ginagawa ng Catholic and Christian.
but of course I'm loyal to God. <3

Hear, hear.

I believe there is a fundamental difference. In the Catholic Mass, there is the real presence of Jesus' very Body and Blood when the ordained priest consecrates the bread and the wine. In non-Catholic services, there is none.

No matter how long or how dramatic or how bombastic a church service is, without the Real Presence, or the Eucharist, which is the source and summit of our Christian life,  then Christ is not there.

I'm not really Loyal to my religion but loyal to my Faith.

One thing that makes me say that is our religion doesn't allow teens and those who are not yet stable to have boyfriend/girlfriend but I have one.

I am not a Catholic and just like what our pastors always tell us, "Your religion cannot save you" I believe that my religion cannot save me and that the only thing can save me is my
Personal Relationship with God.  :)

do you people even know what's the meaning of religion?

Hmn.. I don't know their belief but that's my belief and I don't see anything bad about it. For me, praying and reading the bible everyday is better than going to the Orphanage and helping the children there, if you can see my point.

I was born and raised catholic...

But I also attend bible studies by born again churches.

I've been surrounded by a lot of born again Christians, sometimes they make me feel that being a catholic is sort of being ignorant.

It makes me sad.. BECAUSE I KNOW THAT JESUS CHRIST does not want his children to be divided just because of religion. I believe that GOD wants his people to be united. So I hope that religion-wars will just end. GOD doesn't like that.

What's important is that we all believe that we can be saved by HIM whatever religion you may be in.

I'm a loyal member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo. Maraming bad things ang sinasabi sa amin pero I still hold on to my faith, to my religion, to my brethren and most especially, I hold on to God. Nice thread by the way.  ;)

I think wala naman pong masama. Same po kayo ng mom ko. Born again sya pero she does what Catholic people do.

I was born Catholic and I attended a christian service which I really loved and enjoyed which I ended being baptized on. I don't think there was a SPECIFIC religion I became disloyal to cause both are about the same God. It's just the act of worship and service that differs.  ;)

No. Not really. I'm Roman Catholic but I don't follow all the rules being one. My family is Catholic so I only attend Catholic churches and pray the rosary out of respect and tradition. The only thing I nurture is my personal relationship with God which is the most important thing. :)

Religion is such a complicated thing. Once I have, I guess, betrayed my religion by not believing. But I was also taught in bible study, to look around me and I will see that God is therefore, real. So I guess I have betrayed my religion one time. Thank God I've gone through that phase, because it has strengthened my faith. I know that sounds really weird, but when I stopped believing and I saw the light again, my faith became stronger.
