{ end of Dom’s POV }“Uhh, yeah?” I turned to the chinita-looking girl who held hands with my monkey of a brother. Let me rephrase that. My monkey of a half-brother.
“Magbabarkada kami since… I don’t know, since they moved to NY?”My eyes widened.
“So you two knew each other?!” I pointed at Dom and Chris.
Chris was avoiding my gaze, while Dom was taking a sip from his Venti Mocha Frap.
“I hope you choke on that.” Good news is, he did.
“Answer meeee.” I sounded pretty annoyed.
“Why?” I faced the pretty girl who clasped hands with Chris. I was waiting for either one of the guys to answer, but they weren’t budging.
“They pretended that they didn’t know each other.”“Huh?” “Hell, I’m pretty confused too.” Dom looked at me, then he put his drink on the table.
“Look, bago lang ako sa Academia diba?” I rolled my eyes at him and took a sip from my drink.
“I lived in the States for 2 years. First year and Second year High School. Third year, I was in the sister school of the Academia. I met Chris and Sheila sa NY nung 1st and 2nd year. Then I moved back here for my Third year. Si Sheila din. By the way this is Sheila.” The pretty girl smiled at me.
“Your brother’s girl…” He avoided my gaze.

”I headed for the door, but I turned to face Sheila first.
“Bye Sheila, it was, uhh, nice meeting you.” Then I faked a smile.
“Uhh… It was nice meeting you too, even though it was a—“I turned my back at her. Before I could leave the place, Dennis held my arm.
“You don’t have to leave.” I took a deep breath.
