SEVEN.Continuation…{ DOMINIC’S POV }After buying ice cream, I went back to the park bench where I left Jeanne. I nearly dropped the ice cream I held when I saw her, or them. They looked like they were about to
kiss. They were only an inch apart. I wanted to throw the guy the ice cream that I held.
Wait.Heck, WHY?
Why am I pissed?!
I shouldn’t care.
I should never care.{ JEANNE’S POV}“What the hell brought you back here?” I tried to look away from him, but he just kept putting his face near mine.
“That was cold JC. No hi’s, hello’s?” He smirked.
“Don’t call me JC, Christopher.” I rolled my eyes at him.
“This is really awkward.” Sa malamang lang, nagbalik ka eh! 
I wanted to punch him in the face. I wanted to cry so hard. I wanted to scream. If I could just sream, I’d promise to let his ears malfunction. I wouldn’t use the word
bleed, that’d be disgusting.
“Call me Chris. I’ll call you…”“Jeanne.” I jerked back to reality. I saw
Dominic Dom holding the ice cream that he promised me. I stood up to get it, since it was about to melt.
“Uhh… Ahh…” I tried looking at Chris, shocked to see that he was as perplexed as I was.
“Do—D—““Dude, call me Dominic.” I looked at Dom. He held his hand out to Chris, motioning him to shake it.
Chris took his hand nervously.
“Do—.” He cleared his throat.
“D—uhh… Don’t tell me he’s your boyfriend.” 
“Nah.” I licked my ice cream. Dom bit his. He looked at me, then at Chris.
“So you two are?” He started pointing at the two of us.
“NO!”“Ahh. Good.” He continued to eat his ice cream.
I looked at Dom. Then I looked at Chris.
I took a deep breath, then I told Dom…
“Dom, meet. Chris…”“…my half brother.”{ DOMINIC’S POV }“Your what?!!” I nearly spat my ice cream all over Jeanne. They were sibs?!
“How did tha—““My dad’s her dad.”“I still don’t get it.” I looked at Christopher. He seemed to find the right words to explain things to me.
“I’ll explain everything later.” He looked at Jeanne.
“What?”“Nothing.” He got his phone, then he looked at it. I think he was checking his messages.
“Hey JC.” Jeanne shot her a dirty look.
“I mean, Jeanne. I need to go. I’ll drop by your house later.”“Kahit wag na.” I nearly laughed. I don’t think he heard her.
“Bye!” She looked at him, then he smiled at him.
Plastic.
“Bye.”He saluted me, then he left. I faced Jeanne.
“You don’t like him, don’t you?”She smiled at me, this time, it was her normal,
sweet smile. HECK?!
“You’re good.”I laughed, then she sat at the bench.
“So… Care to explain things?”“Here goes.” She took a bite from her ice cream, then she wiped her mouth with the tissue paper she held. Gahd, she’s pretty.
“Mrs. Lao and my dad were married two years before they got divorced. It was a friendly separation, no hard feelings. They didn’t think they were right for each other. Then, my dad met my mom, who had a kid. My big bro Kyle. His dad died the year Mrs. Lao and my dad met.” She looked at me, as if to say ‘
Gets?’. I nodded.
“After that, they discovered that they loved each other. After a year of marriage, they had me. When I was about, nine, I think? Mrs. Lao decided to pay us a visit. That’s when we knew that she had a son, Christopher. Issues came, involving the matter of who should keep Chris, blah blah. We really had a rough time. But after all those things, it was decided that Mrs. Lao should keep Chris.” She looked at me, and stood up. She already finished eating her ice cream.
“They moved to the States, but my dad still gave them money. For legal purposes. He was still his son, right?” I smiled at her. Looking at her, I saw that she looked confused, worried.
“What’s…” I normally won’t ask this.
“…wrong?”{ JEANNE’S POV }I tried to force a smile.
“Don’t smile if you don’t mean it.” I sighed. I didn’t notice that I started to cry.
“Heck?! Please don’t c-cry…” He poked me on the arm.
“I’m not good with this.” I laughed, then I wiped my tears.
“I’m sorry.”He smiled at me. He looked so cool. Not that popularly cool, but, cool. Argh. I’m having a hard time explaining. But whenever I look at him, he always smiles.
He took his phone from his pocket, then he called his driver.
We got inside the car, then he dropped me off outside my house. He also got down to fetch me to the gate.
“Bye Jeanne. Don’t forget your lines, ‘kay?”“Okay. By the way, thanks for the treat.” He gave me one of his smiles.
When he was about to get in the car, I called him again.
“Dom!”He looked at me, as if saying ‘
What?’
“P-please don’t tell anyone a-about…”“Chris?” He smiled. I nodded.
“Don’t worry about it.”I smiled. When I was about to enter the gate, he called me.
“Jeanne!”I looked at him.
“Thanks for calling me Dom.”
