Pasensiya na kung ngayon lang ako nakapag-update. Medyo lumuwag ang schedule ko kahit malapit na ang finals. Sana magustuhan ang update ngayon kahit medyo short lang.

Chapter 37

It gives me the creeps when that unknown girl stares at me.  Well, I’m not wondering knowing na magkasama sila ni Kristine.

“What are you doing here?” I can’t stop glaring at Kristine. I’m sure she’s planning to do something bad, tapos isinama pa niya ang babaeng ito.

“Why are you looking at me like that, Daniel?”

“You’re all bad news ”

“Is that the proper way to greet your girlfriend ”

Kinabahan ako ng sobra. Bakit na lang laging may interruption everytime na kasama ko si Nicole? I don’t want her to think that I betrayed her.

“What?! She’s not my girlfriend!”

Napansin ko na lang na nakatingin lang sa akin si Nicole, so confused.

What’s going on? I feel like my head is spinning so fast and I couldn’t keep up.

“Stop with all of your lies, Purity ”

The next thing I know is Daniel dragging me away from the parking lot.

Nang makalayo na kami, kinausap ako ni Daniel.

“Nicole, are you ok?” He looks very worried.

I’m not sure if I can answer his question properly. Tumingin lang ako sa kanya.

“I guess you’re not.” He frowned.

“Whatever you heard earlier is all lies. Kristine is just so desperate and she teamed up with Purity to drag me down.”

“Purity? Who’s she?”

“It’s a long story, you don’t need to know about it.” Suddenly, I felt like Daniel is hiding something from me.

“Oh I see...” I said with a very cold voice.

I started to walk away. Then he grabbed me.

“Where are you going?”

But deep inside, there’s this pain that hurts me so much.

Am I jealous of the Daniel’s past that I didn’t know?

“I have a class, remember?” I tried to smile to conceal the pain I’m feeling.

“I thought we agreed to skip class today?”

“I changed my mind…” Napalakas ang boses ko.

“Huh? What do you mean? Is this because of ---”

Hindi ko na hinintay na matapos yung sasabihin ni Daniel. Baka kung ano lang masabi kaya tumakbo ako papalayo…

“Nicole wait…”

I ran so fast until I can’t hear Daniel’s voice and footsteps. And I found myself in a vacant lot.

My tears started to fall. “I’m so stupid… ”

“Bakit mo naman naisip yun ” Nagulat na lang ako ng may nagsalita sa likod ko.
