Chapter 31

The Tiu brothers found out that they both fell in love with the same girl.

“I don’t have a girlfriend! And I’m not playing with her heart! I love Nicole!”

“I love her too!”

Nagulat na lang kami ni Chris nang may biglang nagsalita sa likod.

“Oh, ang aga aga, nagsisigawan kayo.” Si Mommy.

I’m surprised kung sinong kasama niya. Si Nicole.

“Nicole?! ”                         “Nicole?! ”

“Hey guys. Surprise visit.” She smiled at us.

“Sige na hija. Bigay mo na yan.”

Bigay daw? Huh? I don’t get it.

Nicole, why are you here?

She started to walk but she surprised me when she suddenly hugged me.

“I missed you, Daniel!”

Daniel:                      Chris:

Am I dreaming? Did she just hugged me?

What the heck is this? This is unacceptable!

I felt like a knife stabbed my heart when she looked at me. There’s a harsh coldness the way she looked at me.

Bakit ganun? How come she hugged my brother? What’s going on?

Inabot ko kay Daniel yung cake.

“What’s this?”

“A cake.Tinulungan ako ni Dina.” She smiled.

Wow touched naman ako She made a cake for me.

“Thanks. This is really unexpected.” I can’t helped but to blush.

Lumapit ako sa kanila. “A cake?! Hindi naman birthday ni kuya ” I said sarcastically.

My brother glared at me. “What ”

Mrs. Tiu broke the tension between the love triangle. “So what’s the surprise visit, Nicole?”

“Oh yeah, Mom is planning for a family dinner.”

Nanlaki ang mata ng magkapatid.

Family dinner?! What for?!

There must be something big that’s why they are calling for a family dinner.

“Really? Kailan naman?” Mrs. Tiu asked.

“Hindi ko po alam eh.”

“Maybe there’s a big celebration that’s why she’s planning a family dinner.”

“That’s what I thought too.”

The Tiu brothers are exchanging glances like they are studying the two female talking to each other.

“How about if I call her now?”

Syet, no Mom is not planning a family dinner, actually!

“Naku wag na po, Mrs. Tiu!”

“Hija, just call me Mom.” She smiled.

“Huh?! ” Ano daw?!

Mom, you don’t have to go that far, you know

I’m confused on what Mrs. Tiu said and I think she noticed it.

“Well since you are the girlfriend of my son, Daniel. You should call me mom.” She smiled again.

Mom, I’m your son not Kuya Daniel!

“That’s a good idea.” Biglang singit ni Daniel.

Tumawa lang ako kahit medyo awkward yung moment. Kakahiya naman kung tumanggi ako.

“Sige po, Mom.” Actually, pilit na pilit ako sabihin yung ‘Mom’ word.

Ano ba naman itong gulong pinasok ko pero I have to endure it. I’ll definitely crush these two brothers who caused so much pain in my life.

Suddenly, napansin kong nakatitig sa akin si Chris. I feel like he wanted to say something but just couldn’t.

Humarap ako kay Daniel. “So, may gagawin ka ba today?”

He had this blank face. Parang hindi nagregister sa kanya yung tanong ko.

Did she just ask me?

Natagalan bago ako nakasagot. “Uhm, wala naman. Bakit?”

“Wala lang. Gusto ko lang sana lumabas tayong dalawa.” I put a lot of stress when I said ‘tayong dalawa’ na para bang may pinaparinggan ako.

“You mean, like a date?” I feel like Daniel is so confused.

Ano ba, Daniel?! Get a grip!

She just smiled at me.

Nicole is acting is really weird. I thought she hated my brother but now she wants to date him. I don’t know what’s going on.

I’m definitely hurt by this but I won’t back down. I will find out why the sudden change of heart. When we kissed, I’m certain that she likes.

“Uhm, sure.” I’m kinda hesitant about this date but because of what happened between us. Babawi ako sa mga pagkukulang ko.

I noticed na medyo hesitant si Daniel sa date namin. Alam kaya niya ang mga plano ko?

“Is there something wrong?” I asked.

“No, nothing. I’m just excited.” He smiled at me.

“Me too. Hindi pa kasi ako nakakagala since dumating ako sa city. I’m hoping you would give me a tour.”

“Sure, I would love too. Anyways, ligo lang ako.” He winked at me.

Ewwww, kadiri ka, Daniel

“Kuha lang ako ng makakain ninyo.” Biglang sumingit si Mrs. Tiu.

Before I can reply, she’s gone.

All of a sudden, someone grabbed me and pulled me out of the house.

“Hey! What’s wrong with you?! ”

“What’s wrong with me? You!” Chris is glaring at me.

“Ako?! Anong kasalanan ko sayo?”

“Don’t pretend like nothing happened between us.” He’s looking at me in the eye. Kulang na lang kainin niya ako.

“I really don’t know what you’re talking about.” Patay malisya na lang ako.

“Say what?! We kissed! Don’t you remember you that? Or do you want me to make you remember it?!” Medyo nainsulto ako sa tono ng boses niya.

Umatras ako and I snapped. “Who do you think you are!” I screamed at him.

“Don’t use me for your own pleasure!” I glared at him.

“My own pleasure? I don’t know what you’re saying.” Nalito ako sa sinabi ni Nicole.

My own pleasure? I would never do that.

The way she looks at me, parang abot hanggang langit ang galit niya sa akin and it scares the hell out of me.

When I hugged her, she pushed me so hard. “Don’t do that, wala ka bang kahihiyan! ”

“Huh?! Bakit ka ba ganyan? I didn’t do anything to offend you… ”

“Really?! Is that so?! So playing with me is not your pleasurable to you!” I screamed at him. I can’t control it anymore.

“Hold on, hindi kita pinaglalaruan...”

“Cut that bullshit Mahal mo lang ako dahil kay…”













































































































































































































“Kristine?! ”

Suddenly a girl appeared out of nowhere and hugged Chris.

It’s definitely Kristine.
