Chapter 30

Maaga talaga ako gumising kasi today is the day of implementing my plan.

“Tingnan lang natin Chris kung hanggang saan ka tatagal ”

Nagulat na lang ako ng may biglang kumatok.

“Nicole….”

“Sino yan?”

Bumukas ang pinto.

“Mommy?!” Hindi ko alam kung nananaginip ako or what?!

“Pinalabas na ako sa hospital kaya umuwi na ako.” She hugged me.

“That’s good news, mom.”

And then she scanned me from head to toe. “Bakit parang bihis na bihis ka yata?”

“Well mom, I thought about what you said yesterday.”

“About what?”

“About me and Daniel.” Her face suddenly lights up.

“Really?” She hugged me again.

“I know you’ll come up with a very wise decision.” She’s really happy, I could tell that.

Mom, don’t be so delighted. This is the payback for the pain that the Tiu brothers gave to me. It will be like killing two birds with one stone.

“Mom, don’t tell anyone about this. I want to surprise Daniel today ”

Nagtatalon si Mommy na para bang nanalo sa lottery.

“Sure. My lip is sealed.” She showed a lip seal sign.

“So pinuntahan mo na ba si Ate Natalie?”

“Yup but she’s still asleep.”

“Anyways, I’ve got to go.”

“Sige, ingat ka. Send my regards to the Tiu family.”

“Yes, I will, mom.”

I rushed to the kitchen and get the cake that we bake yesterday.


Tiu’s Residence. 8:15 AM. Front gate.

It still makes me wonder the Tiu’s mansion. I could get lost inside of that mansion.

Well Nicole, you can’t back down now because you’ve made it this far. I’ll give them something to remember by, that’s for sure.

Halos mapatalon ako ng biglang may sumigaw.

“Hoy Miss!”

Natakot ako ng nakakita ako ng armadong kalalakihan.

Siguro bodyguards nila yun dito.

“Sino ka? Anong kailangan mo? Ano yang dala mo? Bomba?”

I laughed sarcastically. “Ano ba naman, manong Ako po yung girlfriend ni Daniel. Bibisita lang po sana ako.”

“Ah ganun ba? So ikaw pala si Andrea?”

Say what?! Who the heck is Andrea?!

“Hindi, Beatrice ang name nun.” Siniko siya ng kasama niya.

Ah ganun pala! Humanda ka Daniel, pinagsasabay-sabay mo kami! But oh well, I hate you to start with so no effect yan sa akin. I’ll really give you something to remember by! Humanda kayo sa akin

“Hindi po. Nicole po ang name ko.” I smiled faintly.

“Sige pasok na po kayo.”

“Salamat po.”

Dining room

Nagulat na lang ako ng may biglang nagsalita sa likod ko.

“Kuya, we have to talk….”

Si Chris lang pala. Bakit ba ginugulat ako nito?

“About what?”

“About you and Nicole.” His expression is so serious.

“What about it?”

“Let go of her.” I could feel firmness in his voice.

“Huh? Are you crazy ” I raised my voice.

“I know na hindi naman talaga kayo.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about ” I’m so scared that he might know the truth between me and Nicole.

Inexplain ni Chris ang lahat.

Para akong nakuryente. I can’t move.

What am I supposed to do? I don’t want to let her go. I love Nicole!

“Oh bakit hindi ka makapagsalita diyan? Stop pretending. You have lots of girlfriends. Nicole doesn’t deserve this! She’s been through a lot so stop playing with her heart! ”









































































































































































I snapped. “I don’t have a girlfriend! And I’m not playing with her heart! I love Nicole!”

“I love her too!”
