Chapter 29

I just realized that Chris is using me for his own pleasure. He only sees me as his ex-girlfriend because we look exactly the same.

“Hello? Earth to Nicole….” My sister is waving at me.

“Huh? May iniisip lang ako….” I’m just trying to find an excuse.

“Oh, ganun ba. Wag mo na lang isipin yun. That girl is no good.”

“Anyways, I have to get going.” I stood up.

“Bakit? Saan ka punta?”

“I need to get some rest.”

She just looked at me. “Oh sure. Sige, let’s talk later.”

After Nicole left, it makes me wonder. She’s acting really weird. I don’t think she’s tired at all. I hope she won’t do anything stupid again.


Kitchen

Nakita ko agad si Dina. “Senorita Nicole, buti naman bumalik na kayo.”

I smiled at her. “Yeah, I’m finally home.”

I looked at her so seriously which I think made her uncomfortable. “Bakit po ganyan kayo makatingin?”

“Oh, sorry. I just need your help about something.”

“Sige po. Ano po ba kailangan ninyo?”

“Saan ang stock room dito?”

She brought me to the stockroom. “Ano po ba hahanapin natin dito?”

“I just need a piece of a magazine or article about interview kay Daniel.”

“Wow, mukhang smooth ang relationship ninyo.”

I just smiled at her faintly. “Thanks.”

After 45 minutes, I found a magazine that covers Daniel life. Siya yung nasa cover.

“Yay! I found it!” Lumapit sa akin si Dina.

“Ang cute talaga ng boyfriend ninyo.” Napalingon ako.

“Huh?”

Gosh, Dina! If you just knew what this guy is capable of, you’ll ran away as fast as you can.

“Naku, I didn’t mean that way ”

“It’s ok.” I smiled.

We flipped the pages of the magazine until we stumbled upon a centerfold poster of Daniel.

“Ang gwapo talaga…” She started to blush.

“So do you like Daniel?” I asked her.

Feeling ko natigilan siya sa tanong ko. “Ano po… kasi… ”

Again, I smiled at her. “Ok lang. I’ve heard na dami nagkakagusto kay Daniel kaya I expected it na rin.”

“Everytime na pupunta siya dito, he always compliment my cooking ” Now, she’s in her daydream mode.

Really? Daniel can do that? Parang imposible yata

“Well, good for you.”

“So what are we looking for in this magazine?”

“Something about his favorite food.”

“Well, he likes to eat so I guess a cake or pastries would be nice.”

“Oh yeah, that’s right. Do you know what kind of cake does he usually eat?”

“Usually he likes to eat chocolate cake.” I keep listening sa mga favorites ni Daniel.

“So what are we doing? We should start making a chocolate cake.” She looks at me so weirdly.

“Ah sige po.”
