Chapter 13

Nicole’s POV

I can’t believe I’m kissing Chris. Am I happy? All I know is my heartbeat is pumping crazy. It’s still question to me why I did that.

Did I just initiate my first kiss? Did I? 

My first kiss? I did it with Chris? How come ok lang sa akin na siya ang first kiss ko? I don’t understand myself

Oh no! He thinks I’m such a slut.

I snapped out of it. I slapped him

Chris’ POV

Ganito pala ang feeling, ang saya Para na ako nitong nasa langit. If this is a dream, ayaw ko ng magising.

Thank you Nicole, you made me happy. This time, I won’t let you go. I’ll fight my love for you kahit magalit pa ang buong pamilya ko. I can’t ignore my heart anymore. I tried but it’s killing me.

Nagulat na lang ako ng bigla niya akong sinampal

“Let go of me, you pervert!” Nagsisigaw siya.

“What?! I didn’t do anything!” I’m still surprised kung bakit siya nagsisigaw at sinampal pa niya ako.

“You kissed me!!! ” Ang sama ng tingin niya sa akin.

“Uhm, excuse me?! Ikaw kaya yun ” I glared at her.

“What?! I did not!” Bakit ba niya dinedeny na hinalikan niya ako?!

“Yes, you did.”

“Prove it!” Tinaasan niya ako ng kilay.

“I believe the exact sentence you used is ‘Shut up and kiss me, Chris.’ ” Don’t you dare deny that!

Natigilan siya sa sinabi ko.

Oh yeah, I’ve said that What have I done?


Daniel’s room

Daniel’s POV

“Si Nicole? Anong kinalaman niya dito?” Her face is in terror.

“Natalie? Ok ka lang ba?” I got scared kasi baka kung anong gawin niya.

Umalis si Natalie sa kama.

“Saan ka pupunta?”

“Hahanapin ko si Nicole.” I can feel her determination.

Syet! Anon a lang gagawin niya kapag nagkita sila. I won’t let her hurt my Nicole

“What?! Nicole is here? Where?!” I’m panicking.

Lumabas si Natalie sa room ko kaya kaagad ko siyang hinabol.

Sa 7th floor hallway, nakita namin si mommy.

“Oh Natalie, you’re here. Why don’t you join us for dinner?”

“Maybe next time tita, may hinahanap po kasi akong babae. May nakita po ba kayo?”

“Uhm, wala. Pero may narinig akong kausap na girl sa  room ni Chris.”

Oh no! Inunahan ko si Natalie. Hinarangan ko yung pinto.

“Get out of my way!” She screamed at me.

“We can talk this out.” I’m trying to calm her down.

“No way! I’ll get what I want, that’s for sure.” I don’t think I can stop her but I’ll do it anyway.


Chris’ room

Nagulat na lang ako ng may biglang pumatak sa dibdib ko.

Is she crying? Did I make her cry?

“I’m sorry, Chris…. ” She’s sobbing (to draw in breath while crying, making gasping sounds).

All I know she’s in pain and I can’t stand it

“Bakit ka naman nagsosorry?” I meant it at the bottom of my heart.

“Because of the kiss…” Hindi siya makatingin sa akin ng derecho.

“Pinagsisisihan mo ba yung kiss natin?” I’m trying to comfort her as much as I can.

“Uhm… hindi…” Matagal siya bago nakasagot.

“Then you shouldn’t be sorry for what happened. And to make you feel better, you’re a good kisser ”

After I said that, nag-iba mukha niya. I felt she was devastated. But why? Yun ang tanong.

“So does that mean you kissed someone before? ” She asked me but I can feel the sadness in her voice.

Damn it, Chris! Hindi ka man lang nag-iisip. Ang laki mong tanga! So stupid?!?!

“Uhm… yes. I kissed someone before…” I feel awkward answering her question.

What the heck am I thinking?! Siyempre sa gwapo ba namang yan, siyempre may nahalikan na yan. I’m sure madami na din yan naging girlfriend. Ano ba iniisip mo, Nicole?! You think na pag-aaksayahan ka ng panahon ng isang Chris Tiu?! You are mistaken!

Bigla siyang tumalikod sa akin.

“Are you ok, Nicole? ” I asked her. I’m so worried. I feel like I hurt her so deeply.

Hindi siya umimik at sabay tumayo. I heard her sobbing again.

Nagulat kami ng biglang bumukas ang pinto.
