Another guy's point of view. Gotta keep an eye on this one. The best part about a girl writing from a guy's point of view is the freshness it brings with it. Why ? Because from a female's viewpoint, girls catch what guys don't normally pay attention to sa mga kilos nila. So it's cool to notice it when it's done properly.

“No, I’m sorry Jordan. I’m already engaged. Yeah I know we're still students, but, when I finish college, I’m gonna get married...and not to you.”




That voice still echoes in my mind even though it had been ages since that thing happened. And I don't know why, but I've got to let it go.

“Gusto ko nang mamatay!”


I heard a girl’s voice shouting this out. I looked around the bush, but, wala naming sign ng babae. Nagpatuloy lang ako sa pag-skate board ko, pero, maya-maya eh, sumigaw na naman uli.



“Ano ba naman! Waaaaa!”



Ano kaya nangyayari sa taong yun? I followed the voice, and then it led me sa may likod banda ng skating ground. Noong nandoon na ako, (actually my first time sa pagpunta doon in my whole life) may nakita akong tulay. God.


What is this? Or should I say, what is she doing on the rear railing of the bridge? Malaglag kaya? Ang mga babae talaga, ang aarte.



I was about to go, but she was wailing again so hard that made me near her. Itulak kaya kita?


“What the fcuk is wrong?” I whispered behind her. Bigla nalang siguro nagulat, she probably could’ve lose her grip sa gilid ng railing, kaya hinila niya iyong sleeve ng damit ko.



“Bakit ka nandito! Ano ba?! Pwede ba, iwanan mo na ako!”



Huh? Wtf? What is she babbling about?



I just gave her a look, tapos kinuha ko nalang skateboard ko tapos I slowly walked with it. Pero when I was 3 inches away from her, she ran after me. Nagulat nga ako eh! Bigla niyang hinila kamay ko. Ano to, feeling close?



“Hindi mo man lang ba ako pipigilan? Papano kung mag-suicide ako?”



Pake ko naman? Mga babae talaga. Eh, mabuti sana kung siya ang long lost sister ko, eh hindi naman. Sa katunayan nga, ako lang naman iyong mag-isa na namumuhay eh. My effin ‘rents are in abroad. I’m having fun here being alone, with my skateboard.



I brushed her hands off mine, and then tinignan ko siya mula sa ulo hanging paa. Who the heck is the girl?



“Ano problema mo?! ”



Inirapan niya ako.



She just stared at me, tapos nun, tumakbo siya paalis ng place. Abnormal yata yun noh?   Heck, I don’t care. Pumunta na ako sa coffee shop ng best friend kong si Jay. Ayun, busing-busihan sa counter, kumukuha yata ng order ng costumer. Walang pasok kasi eh, summer pa, (based on my calculations, I think). 1 week nalang iyong natitira, tapos may pasok na naman.



“Hoy, asungot!”


Bigla ko nalang napansin si Jay sa harapan ko. She smiled at me, then she slowly took off her apron, tapos hinawakan niya kamay ko. “Skateboard ka na naman? ”



She rolled her eyes. “You still aren’t over her?” I shrugged. She’s talking me into it again. She grabbed my board, and then she shook her head. “Please, Jordan. Tsss. Skateboarding? Puh-leese. Are you nuts? ”




Hindi nalang ako kumibo. But she was still nagging me. “Bakit ka pa ba nagsskate, edi ba, sabi mo you already gave this thing up when—” I cut her words off by snapping my fingers infront of her eyes. I gave her a pissed look, tapos kinuha ko with force iyong skateboard ko.




“Pwede ba? It had been 3 years since.” Pumunta ako sa kitchen then sumunod naman siya. Kumuha ako ng coffee sa may counter sa likod, then pumunta ako sa isang stall at naupo. I stared at the coffee, the heat’s rising up.



“3 years? Eh, dapat marunong ka nang mag skateboard ngayon. Or should I say, dapat, hindi nawala iyong passion mo sa skateboarding dahil sa kanya. Tss. I never liked that girl for you.”



“Wtf? I know how to, I just forgot how to do it right. I don’t care. ”



Nung na-inom ko na ang last drop, dali-dali kong nilagyan iyong mug sa may side table, tapos iniwan ko nalang si Jay. “Hoy, saan ka naman pupunta?!”



Aalis ako. Hindi ko alam kung saan. Bigla nalang, may nakita akong babae sa T.V. she looked familiar. Model yata. Napatigil ako para tignan siya ng maigi. Tapos bigla nalang may nagsalita sa likod ko.



“Kita moh. Umeksena pa ex mo sa tv.” Napalingon ako, tapos nikita ko si Jay. She followed me again? She really pisses me off at times. You must be wondering kung sino ako, ano ako, and ano past ko, you’ll know it someday. But for now, it’ll remain a mystery that it would push you to a higher level of knowing me.




“Hoy.” I shook my head. Natulala pala ako sa screen. Oo. Tama si Jay. Nasa TV nga siya. Sikat na siya. Ewan ko kung naaalala pa niya ako. “Tara na, you’re wasting your time looking stupidly sa TV screen.” Hinila ako ni Jay. Tapos lumakad na kami sa foot walk, then kinaladkad niya ako. And then, she started nagging me again.





“Alam mo, tuwing nakikita kong babaeng yan, naalala ko iyong time na sinaktan ka niya ng husto! Nakakainis siya. She doesn’t deserve someone like you. Alam mo, siguro ngayon sobrang maarte na siya.” Yun lang ang narinig ko, kasi kinuha ko na ang board ko, tapos sumakay na ako dito para mabilisan ko na ang palakad.



Naiinis ako kay Jay. Ang ingay kasi. “Hoy, teka nga! Naiintindihan mo ba?!” I kept on running while I’m on my board, then sumigaw pa nang lalo si Jay. “Alam mo, nakita mo lang si Diane sa TV ganyan ka na! Pwede ba? Akala ko you’re already over her, but, bakit parang praning ka?!”



I didn’t answer her. She was still running after me.   “Itigil mo na ang pagskateboard mo! Baka mapano ka pa!”I stopped, and then lumingon ako sa kanya.



“When I say that I don’t care, it doesn’t mean that I don’t understand. I just mean it the way that I meant it. I don’t care about that effin Diane lady, I don’t care if I loose break here, at pwede ba!? Kanina ka pa ingay ng ingay eh! Feel ko tuloy may megaphone akong kasama! Just shut up. ”




She looked at me, and then she gave me a face. “Ang high blood mo naman. Sige. Bahala ka! Magsama kayo ng skateboard mo. ”



Tama nga siya. Matagal ko nang kinalimutan si Diane, pero ngayong nakita ko na naman ulit siya kahit sa TV lang nga, kaya eh… bumabalik na naman lahat ng alaala ko sa kanya.


Kung saan pa ako malapit nang maka move on, ngayon pa siya sumikat. But I don’t care. I just don’t really care. Si Jordan ako, ako yata ang pinaka-pinagpalang lalake sa buong mundo… or should I say, just read that line ironically once again.

Bumalik na ako sa skating rink, tapos may narinig na naman ulit ako.



“Waaaahuhuhuhu.”



What the? She’s still here? Ano ba naman tong babaeng to. Kanina pa ako umalis ah, ngayon na nakabalik na ako, nandito pa rin siya. Wtf is with her?



“Hoy ikaw! Tumahimik ka nga kung ayaw mong mahalikan kita!”





Wala na akong may naisip pang paraan para mapatahimik pa siya, pero mali yata ang sinabi ko eh. Dahil sa sinabi ko, mas lumakas pa ang pag-iyak niya. Gusto niya talaga siguro makatikim ng halik ko ano? But I don't kiss a girl that's crying. She might have a bad breath. Malay natin di ba?
