I was wondering if the site could show who boo'd or yay'd you. I don't know if that will be a lot of work but i think that feature will be appreciated.

I've already mentioned that in the Karma thread. It's called Karma Description Mod pero that plug-in has errors. Kaya mahiran nang iinstall.

I agree because as i was surfing other threads, i noticed that there are some members who are talking advantage over those boos and yays. its kind of irritating getting boos because they want to.. oh cmon.

maganda nga pong suggestion 'to.
at least, nabigyan ng justice yung pag-yay or boo sayo.
thru sa pagsasabi nung reason kung bakit siya nag boo or yay.

malay mo,
trip lang niya lang po pala yun.
unfair.

I am in on this suggestion. Madalas kasing hindi objective yung pag-boo ng iba. Minsan, nagbu-boo lang sila just because their opinions contradict with theirs kahit hindi naman hindi sila bina-bash. Merong mga nag-aabuse ng feature na to so we hope na magkaron na ng tracker kung sino sino ang nag-boo at nag-yay sa'yo. ^^

would it be possible if before you can give a boo to a person, she should enter the reason first.. and if possible, it should be reviewed by mods or admins before approving the boo... in this case, the yay's&boo's will be moderated and objective..

Boos are really not that big of a deal.

Anyway, if the admin lets us, we should be able to see a log of yay-ers and boo-ers. The admin could also make it mandatory for people to state the reasons behind the boos/yays they've awarded others. I'm an admin in another forum and that's how we do it there

But as Xyla said, that plug in has errors so let's not worry too much about it.

When you get a boo, check the boo log. If you don't find your name there, reread the rules and then check your previous posts. Maybe you've broken the rules. If that's not true for you either, maybe someone just decided that they didn't like something that you said.

my suggestion is, if you click the yay link or the boo link, a dialogue box will open and you have to fill in the reason otherwise the request for the boo or yay won't be processed. then the username of the teentalker and the reason that he/she typed will be pm'd to us. that way we will be able to know what we did wrong. most boos here are unlogged kasi. *thanks to celica for a part of the idea.

I agree... I don't think the yay/boo log are necessarily bad because when we boo some rule breakers, it gets their attention and they look for themselves in the boo log thread and realize their mistakes. However, with the way that it is (it's just a click away) -- some non-rule breakers like meg_ddc, x_y and others get numerous boos for no reason.

It has become somewhat therapeutic for people to boo people who they dislike

I think we should discourage such hatred. lol.

In addition to that, if Candy were to allow it (and I really don't see why they wouldn't want to unless they did mean to make the yay/boo log to be some sort of mindless popularity contest), we can even view the karma stats (which will show who booed/yayed whom, for what reason [this is the part where what you typed up in the "reason for karma" dialogue box will appear], in what board and when). That way, we can encourage people to be nice to each other and for haters to think twice before they boo people who haven't broken any rules.

saka para malaman naman ng yinay, or binoo kung bakit sila nabigyan nun.
