Introduction Meeting the Narrator _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ Once upon a time...stop! This isn't a fairytale story. No way! I never believed on happy endings anyway. How should I start this? Okay, I'm gonna try this one more time.
Khaye, Dhee, Misty and Lee are friends ages ago. Lee is the only guy in the group. He is the so-called "kuya" of the girls. Everything is perfect in their highschool days but like what they say, nothing is permanent in this life.
A drastic change happened when one of the girls died due to an accident. Misty Rivera died when a car accidentally hit her one rainy night. She was desperate to go to Lee's house that night. She's heartbroken and the only person she can run to that time is Lee.
She died dead on the spot. Khaye, Dhee and Lee were devastated but they couldn't do anything.
From that point, Khaye and Lee started to have a gap until they became mortal enemies. Khaye doesn't know anything about Misty's problem that time. She thought that Lee is the one who broke Misty's heart because of a picture. She saw a picture of Lee and another guy in Misty's wallet one time and from then on she always thought that Misty loved Lee.
Dhee on the hand knew about the other guy but she can't tell anything to Khaye since she promised Misty not tell her anything. Why? Misty doesn't want Khaye to enter the picture. She's actually insecure. Dhee doesn't hate Lee but she hate that guy. The one who broke her bestfriend's heart and in turn, their lives.
Lee can't explain anything to Khaye anymore because she just wouldn't listen. He also thought that explanations wouldn't work anymore. If he tells her the truth, she'd still be furious and probably hate him more.
From where I stand, I can all see them working and trying to forget that dark past but they just couldn't. Lee will be back soon with his brother. Dhee will also come back while Khaye is uneasy trying to think how to act in front of Lee.
In no time, everything in their lives will turn upside down. I just hope that my secrets can be revealed at the right time.
In an early age they learned to hate someone and now, I think it's about time to correct those mistakes and those heartaches that I gave them.
From here, I can see them all. I can feel their emotions and in one way or another I can give them signs and I hope, they can interpret it the way I intend it to be.
By the way, I am [size=12pt]Misty Rivera. I am once their friend and will always be. This story will be read and understood from where I stand.[/font][/size] |
