Starting today, you'll notice that there's a new link under your name whenever you post: the Karma field.

You can only give a person a "yay" or a "boo" if you already have 15 posts. When do you give a "yay?" Whenever you agree with a person, her/his idea, or you just like them, you can give them a "yay." If you don't agree with the person or her/his idea or if she/he is violating House Rules, you can give them a "boo."

Please do not abuse the Karma function.

Hi Miss Macy. This karma feature is really good but I think a lot of people will abuse this feature especially we have a lot of posers and members here. I also have one in my forum. I have only few members but some already abused it.

I think it would be better if the mods can only use this so that we would be able to avoid complaints from those who got BOOS especially if we can't track them. But if you've installed the feature wherein we can track those who applaud or smite, then that would be okay. (I hope the members here won't think that I am suggesting this just because I am a mod)

If you will consider my suggestion, we can put a kudos log here where in the members would post who they think deserves a yay or boo.

by the way, I can't see a link below the karma field.

Hi Emily. Uhmm, di ko kase alam kung ano yun purpose nila dito sa Teentalk. But in my forum, I added that feature para sa mga violators and sa mga role models nung forum ko... Pero only the admin and senior mod can change your karma sa forum ko kase natrauma kame ng mga members dahil ang daming nag-abuse eh...

Dito kase yata more on opinions so medyo naguguluhan pa ako...

The original word for kudos dyan is APPLAUD and for hit is SMITE.
I just changed it for my own forum.

If you get more APPLAUDS or YAYS (term here in teentalk) that means, it's either you did a good thing or you were able to help someone.

If you get more SMITES or BOOs, pwedeng ayaw sayo nung tao or you violated.

Kaya pwede itong iabbuse ng mga members.. Lalo na this forum has thousands of members...

I am sure, if people will abuse this.. I'd get a lot of hits/smite/boos! Hahaha. Especially sa mga pinagsabihan ko regarding the rules.

I agree with Ate Xy, tulad sa lunatics. Admin and Senior Mod lang pwede.
