if done properly and regularly, they have a high chance to prevent pregnancy, but, it is also good to have backup plans like:

-condoms
-not allowing your partner to climax inside you
-calendar method

It is effective especially if hindi ka nag fe fail sa pagtake regularly. Pill prevents ovulation kasi, so no seed, no baby di ba? Hehehe.

It is! But be sure to ask first an OB before taking any pills kasi hindi naman OTC ang pills eh, dapat may reseta ka ng doctor. Also, dapat hiyang sayo yung pills na itetake mo, para rin hindi magkaroon ng hindi okay na side effects. If you want more info, search for Filipinay sa Facebook because they have lots of great advices and info in taking pills. They also answer queries from fans so I'm sure masasagot mga tanong mo dun. Just check Filipinay.  =)

Ahhh okay, thanks sis! I checked nga Filipinay's site ang super helpful nga. Salamat sa pagrecommend. Daming sisses dun na marami rin questions and of course may mga available answers na rin. =) I guess I will visit na may OB this Christmas break. Ask ko if ano okay itake, Althea, Charlize, Lady or Trust, ang mahal kasi ng iba eh. Hehehe. Thanks again! =)

hi sis well wat u need to do pra d ka mag worried mxado is to buy PT (pregnancy test to make sure na d ka buntis..  n plus malalaman mo nmn if buntis ka pag na delay ung period mo.. because sometimes na ffeel mo ung symptoms ng pregnant person.. according to my experience .. minsan tlga it happens na ganyan ma feel mo.. but i dont think ur pregnant.. ang masasabi ko lng buy pregnancy test to make sure ur not.. and da best pra d ka mabuntis is used condom or birth control dahil ang mga guys kahit mag withdrawal cla, meron parin to tinatawag na precum which can lead into pregnancy... kahit sbihin mo na d nya pinutok sa loob

Hi sis adiago, I have tried Althea and Sophia before and okay naman pareho. Mas matagal lang ako sa Althea kasi aside sa pag regulate ng period ko, napansin ko oaky din sya sa face. Di ako nagkakapimples. Hahaha. Natuwa tuloy ako so instead of Sophia, Althea na ginamit ko.

Sa mga mahilig mag pills jan I would suggest to use Dianette or Jasmin but I dont know if available sya dito sa Pinas. Ganda ng side effect nya for skin and even enhance your breast. Its 50euros for 6 pills you will just take once a mos after period. 2k is not bad when your sexually active and worry free.

I'm a regular, usually it falls 2nd or 3rd week of the month. I had a bare encounter w/ my guy on 16th of Jan. I had my period from Jan 21 to 24 and it usually lasts 4 days then we had another bare encounter on the 27th. He both came outside but as ive read, precum may still come in contact specially if it's bare. 2 consecutive days that i've been examining my stomach because it gives me cramps specially at night, no morning sickness or paglilihi just yet.

I'm so paranoid right now because its the 27th and i still haven't gotten my period. I took 2 PT, after i bought the 1st one in the mall yesterday afternoon and awhile ago, first thing in the morning, both negative results. Am i taking the test too early? Is this the sign of pregnancy?  :o

The morning sickness is usually at the 2nd month of pregnancy pa.
Home pregnancy test is very sensitive around 1-2 weeks after a missed period... So if it hasn't shown you to be pregnant then you probably aren't.

usually, girls would feel nervous and anxious after unprotected sex...

This would "simulate" the signs of pregnancy like change of appetite, nausea, vomiting, some headache and feelings of discomfort. These are all just signs na nervous lng kayo.

to be sure, get a home pregnancy test, and then perform the test at the usual day you expect to have your period. If it's negative, you probably aren't pregnant, if you still feel anxious, you can repeat the test 3-5 days after the 1st test
