My science teacher mentioned that using pantyliners everyday has a bad effect on the health. Something to do with the material ata. Is this true?

You have to keep changing them, else the material serves as a breeding ground for bacteria that may cause infections of the urogenital tract.

I only use panty liners before and after my period. Yes, it could have a bad effect on you, like itching. So, best to just wash your thing whenever you pee.

i heard that its not good to wear pantyliners everyday.. thats what my mom's ob-gyne friend said

^ and hindi rin daw maganda gumamit ng tissue all the time.. something about the tissue fiber? ewan! hehe.. basta better daw to use a towel, at least when you're at home

Yes. It's really bad for our health kung araw araw. para mas maganda mag palit ka nalang twice a day. ganun ginagawa ko.

ive been wearing pantyliners for 8 years already (except on my menstrual period days c0z i have t0 wear sanitary napkins,,, duh) and n0thing is wr0ng with my ur0genital tract,,,
its purpose is to abs0rb excess fluids in y0ur vaginal area,,,
wearing it is sanayan lang,,, the thinner the better coz y0u w0nt n0tice na it's there,,,
plus, y0u sh0uld practice pr0per hygiene 0n y0ur vaginal area, like wiping it with soft tissue after peeing and washing it bef0re sleeping 0fc0urse,,,

it's my 0pini0n plus a bit 0f research fr0m the net and fr0m my clinical instruct0rs.
and als0, my m0m raised me t0 it and we w0uld prefer t0 use it than t0 get 0ur undies damped and get candidiasis,,,

Sa cousin ko may diniscuss sa kanila yung Health teacher nilana whenever you wear a pantyliner or sanitary napkin, kailangan you wear it between two panties. Gets? First suot ka ng panty na walang napkin, tapos suot ka ulit ng isa pa na may napkin na... Kasi yung fibers daw nun minsan may naiiwang hibla hibla kasi diba moist yung thing natehn? May naiiwan nga then pag naipon yun sa loob na ng thing natin, super bad daw talaga yun for the health.

..pero haven't tried it yet. haha.

I dont like wearing these kasi nagkaka-rashes ako. I'm not sure why. After a few days of wearing, I got them. It was like, "OMG!!! What the hell!?" My mother suggested to stop using them. I did. Nawala yung rashes. Sanayan nga siya.

YES. Its not good to use them everyday. My friend had UTI because she uses it everyday. Tapos ung wiping with tissue naman not good also, my mom got sick dahil don. Kapag magwipe raw ung outside area lang. wag ung loob kasi may naiiwan na material ng tissue sa part natin
