having my internship this summer, i already applied at  ABS-CBN through jobstreet.com.  I'm kinda nervous. though our school already conducted an orientation for us- students who will be having an OJT, any advice or tips? I'm really nervous! Help!

Just wanted to know who among you are about to take their practicum this summer, are taking their practicum right now, or had taken their practicum already?

I'm a junior taking up AB Communication and I'm about to take my practicum this summer! I'm scared but excited!

I'm still not that familiar sa college, gusto ko lang po malaman kung pwedeng mag-intern kapag summer vacation kahit hindi pa time ng internship ko? Usually po kasi sa last semester ng senior year may internship. Balak ko po kasi kapag mag-second year na ako

^It depends siguro kung may pre-requisite subjects ka pa. And I think you still need your adviser/professor/chairperson to sign an endorsement letter for you, so try to ask them.

The internship is very important 

First and foremost pick a reputable company, and second make sure that your tasks wont simply involve stapling and filing.

I was lucky enough to get into a multination IT firm for my OJT and they assigned to me real projects. It was stressful but in the end it was worth it. When companies looked at my resume the first thing they saw was my internship and the entire interview circled around it (di na pinakialaman yung school ko  ) A reputable internship really gives you an edge, even among graduates of top universities.

Any BS Biology majors here? Saan ang practicum niyo? Yung mga nababalitaan ko kasing OJT programs for our major eh puro walang relevance. Case en pointe, tagapunit ng ticket sa Manila Ocean Park. :|

Guys, I have a question! i'm taking up an AB in Literature and we have no OJT. As in walang nakalagay na kahit ano sa course curriculum. I'm wondering if its okay to apply for an internship if weren't required to?
