which do you prefer: a boy bestfriend or a girl bestfriend???

Sa ngayon, puro girls best friends ko. But I have some close friends na boys.
I'm contented with my girl best friends. They're always there for me. Pero kung meron man akong magiging boy best friend, that would be great. Wala akong kuya or younger brother kaya maganda rin kung magkaroon ako ng guy best friend.

For me Both! Hehe. Ako kasi merong girl bestfriend pati guy bestfriend. Kapag sa girl kasi may bonding kayo na sakanya mo lang magagawa, same din sa guy bestfriend may mga bonding na sakanya mo lang ginawa...lalo pag sa kalokohan. haha. Kaya for me same. It's fun to have a girl bestfriend, you can shop together and gush about clothes and makeup together. But the thing is, if you're not really into drama in stuff, it's better to have a boy bestfriend and a girl CLOSE FRIEND. Trust me, i've been through that already. I've had and lots bestfriends since 5th grade, and now that I'm a junior in highschool. Just make sure that if you're going to have a boy best friend, friends lang talaga kayo and you have no feelings for the guy. Kasi, the situation will get very, very complicated, especially if he's courting another girl.

all of my bestfriends in HS were girls.. ewan ko anong nagyari and lagi kaming naghihiwalay ng grupo.. ang daming drama sa buhay! but ever since i came here in US,  i made some quite few friends.. and one of them is a guy of course.. and basically became my best guy friend.. mahirap lang in having a guy best friend is ako pa yata ang maiinlab sa kanya..

Here are the reasons why I wouldn't like a girl bestfriend

1. I dont need a second mother figure.
2. It can end up as a one way romance.
3. I dread the notorious female mood swings.
4. Unless both of your are really open to discussions, there are things you are too embarrassed or just taboo to talk or go places with a girl, even if she is your best friend. (Do you really wanna take a female best friend to a strip club? Unless she is game to such things, it is really just awkward)

Now for the good reasons to have a female best friend.

1. You'll actually put more effort in making yourself look good when you are with her.
2. Other girls are actually easier to approach/talk to if they see that you are around another girl.
3. Based upon #2, girls are very powerful wingmen. Unlike guys, if he looks/dresses better than you, you'll often fall as the second pick on which girl will hook up with you.
4. When you are together with a girl best friend. People tend to think you are a couple. Which may give you some giddy moments and romantic ideas. See reason #2 in "why I dont like girl best friends"
