Also, I think that these laws are only effective if you blog is on a US server, which most public blogs are anyway.

Xyla, most of these laws AFAIK are applicable only for those who monetize their blogs--in short, those who make blogs to review products and/or services. That's what quite a number of people now do to earn money--they look for people or companies who would pay them to review things.
