Incoming Frosh for 3rd term. Yeah, I'm so late. I'm feeling a bit nervous and excited. :) Anyway, i just want to ask what to wear on my 1st day?

uniform? walang uniform sa benilde, save for HRIM-culinary track. for orientation, you should wear casual clothes. the custom is for the frosh to wear green during orientation. check your orientation brochure. :)

My course is BS-IHM. I've heard may uniform, tho wala pang sinasabi. Sa 1st ba, kailangang suot na yun?

Hello! This is my first post. Sorry for the length!  ;D

I might be enrolling in Benilde next school year, and I am considering taking Fashion Design and Merchandising, since I have a high interest in fashion. But I have no experience in sewing at all! Would this be a big problem? Is it required that I know how to sew and sketch designs for this course? What if I don't really, really want to become a designer but rather own a clothing store/boutique or be a stylist?

Thanks so much for any help!  :)

You will learn all of that (sewing and sketching) in your course, but its better if you start to practice now :)

If you see yourself in that kind of crowd/profession in the next 4-10 years, then that course is for you. If not, then try other courses na lang.

Sidenote: One thing i've been noticing from fashion students in benilde is that they always design clothes that they would like, not what other people would like. Sure, one thing to remember when making/designing something is that you should be happy with the outcome, but if they want to market their design/product they should remember that other people should like it too.

I'm planning to apply for a second degree course next year, first term. Am I required to pass recommendation letters from my previous school, or are those just for transferees and HS graduates?

Hello I'm Bianca.  Ask ko lang po if maganda ba ung BA major in export management or major in human resource management? mahirap ba ung math at science sa courses na to? and last question po, ilang percent ba makakapasok sa benilde if you're a late aplicant? ???
