Yes, she's my friend! She actually conceptualized her debut and I think they spent around a million on her debut. It was splendid! The theme of her debut was a fairytale one. She had 18 balloons, 18 ribbons and 18 flowers. Aside from that, she treated her best friends and they represented each of the disney princesses.

Nakita ko na din yung vid kasi andami talagang nagrerecommend. Grabe ang cool. Andaming twists nung party. It's almost a dream. Wow. Just. Wow :D And I think the debutant was the sweetest to give some of her blessings to the charity. Hands down sa kanya :)
My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations. Okay? Okay ★

Hi guys! I'm glad I found this thread. April 2014 pa ako magdedebut pero ngayon pa lang pinagpaplano na ko ng parents ko. Lol. And I'm on a budget din. So DIYs ang solusyon ko. Haha.

Anyway, I made a "debut blog" para i-document yung pag-pa-plan. Baka makatulong din sa inyo (especially sa pagbubudget dahil dakilang kuripot ako haha) and maybe you can throw in some comments and suggestions na rin. Na-inspire lang ako sa wedding blogs na may supplier huntings and reviews and etc. Why not make a debut blog din diba? Hehe. Hope you can drop by. :) http://theunwillingdebutante.wordpress.com/

Hi Angelie! Your idea of making a debut blog is a great one. I'm sure lots of young ladies will greatly benefit from your story.

I actually read through your blog and I find your prioritization very practical :)

Also, since you're a photonut, you might want to go over some my photo-video works. You can find them through the links below

Hey guys. I really need help. I'll be having my debut on November.
My theme is something like Pool Party-Candyland.
I'm planning to have 18 floating candles, 18 gossips (for fun).
But I have this huge problem about the 18 ROSES. I really don't want to have the Cotillion dance.
Please suggest something that Guys can do. Possibly things that most guys are willing to do unlike Singing.
Thanks!
Hoping to be your friend. :D

Hello!:) Advanced happy 18th! If you think they'd be uncomfortable in doing a cotillion dance, why not a modern dance number that you don't necessarily have to dance with them one on one, like a group presentation? They could also make you a short video message presentation. I would also recommend asking your 18 Roses themselves on what they feel more comfortable doing:) Hope to have helped. Good luck!

Hello! Just like you, I'll be celebrating my debut on June 2014 too :D Do you have any particular budget? For venues, I recommend:
1. Filinvest Tent
2. Vivere Hotel
3. Bellevue Hotel
4. Acacia Hotel
5. Tagaytay Highlands
6. Taal Vista Hotel
7. HillCreek Gardens Tagaytay
8. Le Jardin de Rosella Tagaytay
9. Amber Garden Tagaytay
10. Splendido
11. Sonya's Garden
12. Ville Sommet

Your debut is your day, and you should have with what you like. If you like blue and silver together, then go for it. I recommend Tiffany blue and Silver. :) Good luck!

It depends on how 'big' you want your party to be, but I guess with a 200,000 budget it is doable. Currently, for a guest list of 150 people, we've already spent more than six digits. You can check http://theunwillingdebutante.wordpress.com/ on how she managed her budget or make your own canvass  using this budget planner from Debutideas.com (http://debutideas.com/2010/05/debut-ideas-budget-planner/). Most of the expenses usually go with food. You can check online or at hotels for packages.

I saw this wedding package from Vivere online. Most likely that a debut package would go lower 'cause most of the inclusions here won't be necessary.

   A majestic Red Carpet
   A three- layered Fondant Cake (only first layer is edible)
   Menu cards on all tables (for Set Menu only)

   Fresh Floral Arrangement on the following:

   Lights

WEDDING PACKAGE - 100 GUESTS

For Photography and Videography, you might wanna look up Nice Print Photo and Video. Their starting photo and video package is at 28,000.

You can DIY the invitations and giveaways. For the host, you can have someone you know who speak really well.

I agree with tamika-kun. 200k is a good budget for a celebration and yes, most of it usually goes to food, around 50-60% actually.

For photo and video, let me offer my personal services. Packages start at 25k only :)

Last po. uhm... What can you say about Estancia Resost Hotel in Tagaytay?
we went there po kasi. Wala lang venue trip lang kami ng parents ko.
The price for the debut celebration is fit to our budget. I just wanna know your comments about the hotel.
And is it the perfect venue for my Paris theme?
Thanks :-)

Estancia is a cool place, but the overall design reminds me of Santorini, something more Greek Mediterranean. As for perfection, only you can judge that:)

My bestfriend just had her debut last night at the Ayala Hillside Estates Social Club. The place looks nice! You guys might want to check it out if you reside in QC/Diliman area. :)
