Reasonable enough although my highschool never approved of the JS prom in our batch, but when we reached senior year we had the Bash instead. Unluckily, For me I didnt had to go there and I missed out spending a "Glamorous" night with my friends and peers that time.

Oh, well I got over it anyways

I think that's the real reason of having a JS prom but for my school, proms are for juniors only. The turning over thing happens on our turn over ceremony every Feb/March and we are suppose to wear semi-formal clothes.

yah . ginawa namin to last year. because yun nga first time magkaroon ng JS prom sa school namin kasi bago palang siya. then yun, merong tokens and messages coming from both years. tapos meron pang turn over ceremony.

pero hindi ko alam na ganun pala talaga yun. poor me. pero ngayon alam ko na .

Akala ko parang pagandahan ng gown, palambutan ng katawan sa sayaw... At bistuhan kung sino ung mga pairs na laging PDA lang ang paghahabol sa pagpasok.

same things happen in our JS prom but the seniors also past down their titles to the juniors like "queen of talk", "paparazzi of the year" for example... its fun as well XD

during JS practice cnabe na samin un.tska ksma sa practice nmin ung turnover.

sa amin candle, bible, school logo and susi.ang malaki lang ung school logo at xempre susi.

Yung sa amin din. Turn-over of responsibilities. May mga symbols, yung golden key, holy bible, plant, dove, etc. Each symbol represents something. Ang mga seniors ang mag tu-turn-over ng mga responsibilities. Ang "prophesy" [tama ba spelling?] at Last will & testament din. Super nakakatawa. Ako, para daw akong 'thinking tools'. haha. Plus, may sayaw2x pa.

Days before our prom, reneview namin yung proper etiquette.

During our prom, I realized na you can still enjoy kahit formal ang party.

I'm so jealous with you guys (I mean you lots who have experienced PROM) Kasi I'm already 16 y/o (mag-17 this August) and yet, I still haven't been on a prom once. Because I'm studying here in Scotland, and they don't really like offer the type of prom that you would get there in the Philippines.

However, there is this event called the '6th Year Ball' which I supposed it is like a Prom (By 6th year, Yes it means 6th Year High School kasi ganun dito sa Scotland ...) pero sabi ng mga 6th Year dito, is parang formal party lng, like kakain and may sayawan pero yung sayawan wouldn't be like a disco, instead it'll be a Ceilidh (Cultural Scottish Dancing). And unfortunately, I wouldn't have a chance to go on that ball kasi, uuwi kami sa pinas for holiday that time.

Kaya, everytime na nakakakita ako ng mga Prom pictures, hindi ko maiwasang mainggit. Lalo na yung mga ka-year ko sa Dominican College dati, all of them were just like posting their Prom pictures and I was just like "awwh sana andun ren ako "

so my professor was right about proms    because now it is not very obvious refer as to real reason of prom cause our prom theme this year is night of the stars    with the golden lions red carpet huge oscar statues the star invitations vip ids the dress the dance limo for real  and all of the other hollywood stuff    best night of my life  best prom evah
