I use my own money kaya hobby ko na ang magpunta sa mga Book Sales at ako ang number one suki sa Recto.  ;D Since kilala na nila ko, I could bargain for 30-40% discount. Sa Recto kasi, fresh from the bookstore pa yung mga books.

I'm not really particular sa itsura ng books na binibili ko, basta maayos pa yung pages, yung cover, then I'm good with it.  But once na nasakin na yung book, may pagka-over protective na ko. Haha.  ;D

I buy my own books. I save a portion of my allowance just to buy the books I want.  :)
Everything happens for a reason.

i buy my own especially those books that are restricted or banned.
and no, i'm not talking about pocketbooks. i'm talking about those books written by vc andrews, or those books that discusses taboo.

hehe

but when it comes to books that i need in school, well they pay for it. haha

I buy my own books,, novels.

there was a time that my mom scolded me at the bookstore when she saw that I was going to buy a whole set of novels..

then I said "napapasaya ako nito, ayaw mo ba kong makitang masaya?"

that was rude but it made her silent,. :-X

If it's for school, my dad pays for it.

If it's what I like, it depends... Sometimes when I have enough money in my jar and not in the bank, I can pay for it myself... Sometimes dad does... For example, he bought me the whole Twilight series, Some books from Blue Bloods, House of Night, etc.

In some occasions, my aunt pays for it. :))

i'm just curious. :)

kasi ako the money may come from my mom pero ako yung nagsasave para makabili ng libro. kasi nagagalit siya sa akin mom ko kapag nagpapabili ako ng book. kailangan ko pa magmakaawa na bilhan niya ako kapag may nakita akong libro. kasi kapag minsan wala akong nasasave na money kasi nga walang allowance. kapag summer or sem break. kinukumbinsi ko pa siya ng isang oras para lang bilan niya ako ng book at utang pa yun ha. palagi niyang sinasabi ang mahal naman niyan. saan ba tungkol yan? bakit mo bibilin? anong gagawin mo ba diyan? kaya nagiipon ako palagi to buy my own books. (books na for leisure ha hindi text books. ;D i'm just saying. :) )

how about you?

Haha. Same here. Haha. xD
