CHAPTER IV
Di pa naman kami nagpo-photo shoot ni Wes kaya after nung blushing incident, di pa kami nagkikita. Today’s the first day of my college life and I’m pretty excited and at the same time, I’m pretty nervous. Pareho kami nila Laine at Rico ng school kaya no problem kaya lang we took different courses. Sila Rico at Laine pareho at ako lang ang naiba.
I was walking towards my room when suddenly…
Laine: sis, miss na kita.
I hugged her as tight as I could.
Krissy: Well, I miss you too. Musta?
Laine: Eto, maganda pa din.
Krissy: Patawa ka talaga. Where’s Rico?
Laine: Ewan ko. Kanina, magkasama kami bigla na lang nawala. Classmates kami ni Rico sa lahat ng subjects eh.
Krissy: Really? Good for you, at least may makakasama ka na. Musta si Charles?
Charles ang name ng bf ni Laine.
Laine: Ayun, wala pa din time sa akin. But last night, he visited me sa house. Ang sweet nya pa din.
Ewan ko sa yo Laine. Andyan naman si Rico, bakit si Charles pa? If I know, di siya seryoso sayo. But since, you don’t want to listen to me, sige, bahala ka.
Krissy: Ahm. Okay. Panu, kita-kita mamayang break.
Laine: Sure. Same breaks naman tayo eh. Bye sis. See yah.
Pumasok na ako sa room ko at syempre, most of them recognized me as the not-so-famous Krissy Valdez. Someone went to my place and introduced herself.
“Hi, Krissy. I’m Lyka pala. Nice to see you here.”
Krissy: Hi. Nice meeting you.
Lyka: Tabi na lang tayo.
Krissy: Okay.
Tapos marami na din akong na-meet. Most of them ay feeling close pero okay na din at least, i have someone to talk to na rin. Then, there was a group of girls there na di ko na-meet. Lyka told me that they are the mean girls since HS. Mga mahilig mag-makeup, pumorma, mga flirts, mahilig sa boys at syempre, plastic.
At last, break na din namin. Lyka has her own group of friend kaya di ko siya kasama. Rico and Laine picked me up on my room and at the same time, I introduced them to Lyka and her friends. We went directly to the cafeteria since nagugutom na din ako. Rico offered na siya na lang ang bibili ng foods namin kaya siya na lang ang bumili.
Laine: Sis, ang swerte mo talaga. I envy you na.
Krissy: Laine, you know naman na I’m not happy with what I’m doing. I really don’t like this craft. Even my course. But I have to follow my mom coz I know, bata pa lang siya gusto na niya maging model and since, di niya nagawang abutin yun, ako na lang ang aabot para sa kanya.
Laine: Love mo talaga si Tita noh. Kung sabagay, kayong dalawa na lang naman ang magkasama eh.
Krissy: Yeah, I love her so much that I’ll do everything just to make her happy.
Rico: Girls, anong pinag-uusapan nyo diyan?
Laine: None of your business, Rico.
Natawa ako dun ah. Barahin daw ba ang best friend ko na nagmamahal sa kanya.
Krissy: wala, we were just talking about the modeling thingy, you know, my career.
Rico: Ah okay. By the way, nagkakagulo yung mga girls dun (pointing).
Laine: Bakit daw?
Rico: I asked one of the girls tapos sabi niya dito na daw kasi nag-aaral yung isang gwapong model. I forgot the name eh, sinabi niya kanina. Baka knows mu yun Krissy, baka you worked with him na.
Krissy: I can’t remember any model studying here. At tsaka, I haven’t work with any male models. Actually, ngayon pa lang, with Wesley Perez.
Rico: Wesley Perez? Yeah, siya nga. Yun yung sabi nung girl sa akin na dito na mag-aaral. 2nd year na daw.
I was surprised. What I know is that Wes is studying in La Salle with her girlfriend but what the hell is his reason of transferring here? Nang-aasar ba talaga ang lalaking yun.
Laine: Sis, you’ll be working with Wesley. !@#$ girl, ang swerte mo. Many girls have this huge crush on him tapos makakatrabaho mo siya.
Krissy: Hey Laine. I’m not lucky. If you only knew how bad that guy is.
Laine: I know. Are you talking about the incident before? But sis, it’s been two months, why don’t you just start all over.
Krissy: Di mo kasi alam Laine na sobrang yabang ng taong yan. The last time I had a conversation with him was last two weeks wherein pinag-init nya uli ang dugo ko.
Rico: Krissy, baka naman type mo lang siya.
Krissy: Type? Are you on your mind Rico? With that attitude, how could I like him?
Laine: Wag ka nga magsalita ng tapos. Baka kainin mo lahat ng sinabi mo.
Ano ba yan? Ipagtulakan daw ba ako kay Wes. Arg. What’s on his mind ba? There are so many universities in the Philippines but why he transferred here? Teka nga, bakit ba ako inis na inis sa kanya? Parang simpleng misunderstanding lang yung nangyari sa amin but until now, I’m getting pissed whenever I see him. Krissy, ano ba talaga?
Instead of thinking about it, kumain na lang ako. Tapos kwentuhan with my best friends.
Laine: Sis, I have something to tell you.
Krissy: anu yun?
Laine: Ahm. Wes is looking to our direction, particularly to you.
Krissy: Yaan mo na siya.
Laine: and he’s walking towards our place.
