Thanks tamtam for that yummy carbonara recipe! ;D

Yikes, here is what you should do.
- Saute the garlic (5 cloves, depending on your taste), minced. Use olive oil.
- Then add the 4 or more slices of bacon here
- You can also add button mushroom, sliced if you want. A little butter to add taste.
- Pour in the milk (I prefer nestle or alaska cream, 2 to 3 packs if you want to serve the whole family)
- Then raw eggs (If you will use cream, there will be no need for eggs. This will just make the texture of the milk creamy).

I hope i was able to clarify that :)

cherypop, even other Italian restaurants mix tomate with white sauce. That's a good suggestion.  Any version of carbonara sauce that you might have?

babooi21, care to share your dessert recipe?

ella19, thanks for that yummy recipe.  Keep it coming!  ;)

nacho cheese sauce
for your girl's movie/DVD night, merienda with potato chips and of course, for the nachos!!!

2 tablespoons butter/margarine
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk ( 1/2 cup evap + 1/2 cup water)
1 teaspoon salt
3-4 tablespoons chiz whiz or similar cheese spread

1) melt butter/margarine in pan, then switch to low heat
2) add flour and stir until smooth
3) add milk and stir until it thickens
4) add the salt and cheese spread (depending on how cheesy you want to make it)
5) keep stirring until well mixed

*takes about 10-15 mins to make, it's very yummy when hot and freshly made. keeps fresh for about a week in case you make too much, just re-heat it in a pan.

*i also add bacon bits, chopped garlic and onion after the adding the cheese to make it a little more interesting, pero kayo na bahala, you can also make it spicy if you want.  :)

for the baked goodies, i will be posting them soon.
