mga books na disappointing..

super agree... i was really bored first few pages pa lang.. good thing I only borrowed the book from a friend who also told me that it made her really disappointed. I still tried it because many people are saying that its good.. blah blah blah.. I really thought that my friend and I are weird because we don't like that series. I can't even finish the book coz it makes me sleepy

Me too. People were rushing all over to buy that book, laging out of stock sa mga bookstores dati, hanggang sa wala na akong mahanapan. I thought that book was really good since people were so addicted to that Twilight saga. Then one day yung bro ko nanghiram ng twilight sa friend niya, natapos niya but nung nkibasa na ako, nangalahati pa lang ako then umayaw na ako. I hate Bella Swan. And I don't like the story, it was sooo exaggerated para lang kiligin ang mga readers...

Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick. Ewan. Puro away nangyari dito e. Nawala yung pagka-"romantic" kumpara mo sa first book.

Red Riding Hood (nakalimutan ko na yung author). Actually binili ko siya last year pa at hindi ko pa rin siya natatapos HANGGANG NGAYON. Lol. xD Ang boring kasi. Mga asa kalahati na ako wala paring nangyayaring nakakaloka. Ganun din daw sa movie. Di kagandahan.

The Time Machine by HG Wells. Wala kasing sinabi kung anong nangyari sa Time Traveler eh.

Tsk.. may time na napilitan ako bumili ng libro na hindi ko man lang na scan yung pages or yung plot man lamang. I just plucked it out of the "Award-Winning" shelf of National Bookstore. "I'm in No Mood for Love" yata yun. By Rachel Gibson. Turns out geared for more mature readers yun. Ka-trauma, ang inosente ko pa naman. Haha =)

Same thing happened to me when I tried to read her work when I was in my first year. My friend lent me her book saying that it was good. I was trying to win friends back then so I borrowed it. I ended up skipping all the sex part and not finishing the book. Very vivid imagery. 

I thought the sequel, Where She Went, was better though.

Really? I heard that it is in Adams P.O.V., that alone does not convince me. Add to the fact that he's boyfriend to the main character.

Halo by Alexandra Adornetto. At first, I was really, really excited to read her book because I thought it's a refreshing novel out of the vampire and werewolf zone. But when I read the first few chapters, I was quickly disappointed. The novel is very slow-paced and the angelic characters are weak. Angels are not dwelling on their emotions. When an angel falls in love with a human, he's considered as a fallen angel (no explanations asked!).

I'm sorry but I really don't like this book and I'm not going to buy its second and third book.
