mga books na disappointing..

I read a story dun noon--about siya dun sa mag-boyfriend na yung girl e nabaliw kasi nakita nya yung matandang naghuhum ng snake dance na dala dala yung ulo ng boyfriend nya. Ang sabi dun sa story, nabaliw daw yung girl dahil dun sa nakita. Hello! Pano naman kaya nya naikwento ang mga detalye kung talagang nabaliw siya?

para ngang hindi makatotohanan ang istoryang 'yun. kasi may nabasa akong isa pang version nung storya na yan... sa philippine ghost story rin. sa isang theater chuva naman yung location hindi sa highway.

how not to spend your senior year...tsk, nagandahan lang ako sa cover...and binili pa yun ng classmate/friend ko..just for me...kasi napansin niyang super gusto ko ng book  na yun..tpos pangit din pala story

I was intrigued by the book kasi wala syang summary sa likod ng cover so I thought that it was really interesting...But turns out, sobrang common nung story...

Teen Idol - I almost chucked it in the trash

Worm In the Blood - it had a pretty cover

The Book of Dead Days - There were so many good reviews about this book but it turned out to be crap (the sequel's pretty good, though)

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - nabwisit lang ako dito, the only good part was this tiny little portion at the very end

Royally Jacked - It was stupid. Period.

The Notebook - istorya ng dalawang taksil (I didn't finish it)

it doesn't mean that pangit yung nangyari kay harry panget na yung book. hindi naman pwedeng puro maganda yung nangyauari diba? but well, iba iba tayo ng tastes...

marami nga nalungkot sa book na yan. But it's one of my faves talaga.

siguro yung pinabasa sa min dati na the good earth by pearl buck. ewan ko ba. wala akong naintindihan at wala na rin ako matandaan sa story.

i used to read true philippine ghost stories. kaso nung dumami yung version nun parang naging overrated na..ewan ko. pero para sa kin.. tingin ko yung iba dun e gawa gawa na lang ata.

I'm with you here 'cept for the "significant plot development".  Sure, there were subtle developments but they don't need a thick a$$ book to narrate.

That's one of the reasons why I don't read series books (new ones). The author tends to stretch the middle parts instead progressing to the end. Of course that's their way of ballooning up their revenues. Haha
