not really, date with friends is ok na.

i think uso lang ang prom date sa exclusive schools and IS schools.

pero sa co-ed given na ung bf/gf mo e prom date mo.

Last year naman, di na kailangan ng kadate. I don't know lang this year kasi sa batch ng mga juniors ngayon, sila yung tipong mahilig sa mga date or something. Inalok kasi sa min ng principal namin kung gusto namin ng may date sa prom, majority nag ayaw. :lol:

Hindi naman. Pero I think kapag classmate mo naman yung prom date mo, eh okay lang yun. Mas masaya pag with friends yun nga lang nakakakilig pag tipong crush mo pa yung prom date mo.

for me YES , lalo na kung special someone ung ksama mo . pero kung di mo naman feel na magkaron ng date during the Prom ienjoy nlng ang night ksama ang friends .

I went to my prom before with my high school friends and I'll admit hindi namin siya masyado naenjoy  Kahit na kasama mo friends mo, nakikita niyo pa rin ibang tao na sumasayaw with their bf/gf hehe. Nakakaapekto rin somehow, I'm not sure if others will admit it pero mapapaisip ka talaga na you'll be leaving HS without a special someone.

Wish we spent the prom money na lang for a baguio trip with my friends

I don't think it's necessary to have a date at the prom, but it would be such a nice experience to have a date since it might be your first time having one, and prom is just a one-in-a-million event. You don't get to have another prom until several years, if there is still going to be one.


If you are uncomfortable going to prom with a date, you can consider having your girl best friends as your date too. It would be fun. Friendly date. Haha!

if you feel that your prom date is someone who you could be yourself with then yes. but if he's someone whom you're not close to.. DONT! might as well spend it with your girls.  #basedonexperience
