i only know my paternal grandparents' story.
my grandfather is a Chinese businessman from mainland China. he went here in the Philippines to work and put up a business. he used to own a bakery and deliver bread to other towns. my grandmother used to run a store in our hometown, and my grandpa supplied the bread in her store. that's how they met and they settled in our current hometown.

while my father and mother..I'm not really sure..LOL
my mother actually is from another town but she was assigned in our town's public high school..(my mother is a teacher), but i have no idea how they met...

I kinda have some links to Abubakar. Sa great grandparents ko ang alam kong story, yung story nila di ko mapaniwala, pero kinukwento to sa akin ng Lola ko lagi. Because my Great Grandmother(the mom of My maternal grandfather) is a Muslim Princess(I forgot her name. Naging Miss Mindanao din sya dati) but she married a Christian. But I have never really  met anyone from My Lolo's side let alone her side. Ever.


My Dad's side and Mom's side have some Spanish heritage. Dad ko nga, tingin mo lang, maniniwala ka na kahit 1/4 or 1/6 Spanish lang sya. Sa Mom ko, di ko sure pero puro matatangkad at tisoy't tisay raw ang Dad's side nya. May pinsan daw sya na Pinay pero naturally fair ang skin and blond-ish ang hair. Puede ba yun?

My family's into Politics, Law and Medicine.
A street near our place was named after my great grandfather, Eduardo Quintos Sr.
They're originally from Pangasinan but transferred in Sampaloc, Manila.

hmmm... kinda... sa father side... well nababasa ko sa History books if familiar kayo kina shariff kabungsuan etc. (elementary books.heheh) and ofcourse we have the tarsila and old relatives who can trace our family tree... to like the nth generation..(both families since first cousins yung parents nya)

on my mother side,..ang alam ko spanish -irish descent sya sa father side  and my great great grandfather was a merchant from Dublin.. and pure ..na taga negros yung sa mother side.

Sa father side ko, may lahi silang Spanish. Pure-blooded Spanish family yung ninuno ng papa ko. Then nahaluan na lang ng Filipino blood.

Sa mother's side naman, may Indian and Chinese blood sila. Same as with my father's side, nahaluan na lang ng Filipino blood.

Yes, I am proud of my heritage. Totally proud!
