I know some... Like how my parents met, how my grandparents met, etc
I know more about my Mom's side of the family than my Dad's side of the family cuz my grandparents on my Dad's side died even before I was born...

But my grandma on my Mom's side and I were close so she even made me read my grandpa's love letters to her (from 1952 ) and life before, during and after the 2nd World War.

hmm, my lolo and lola (both sides) are from bicol.

my mother's side:
my lola is actually a spanish. my lolo is a kapangpangan. my lola came from the family where manny villar aslo came (malayong tito ko si manny villar). my lolo nmn is kamaganak ng father ni phillip salvador (tito ko rin yun)

my fathers side:
both are just a poor people also from bicol. my lolo is a police but i never seen him because namatay agad sya noong 1969. my lola died in 1992. sya ang nagpalaki sa akin every time na nasa province ako.

I dunno if it's true, but apparenlty my moms family are originally igorot... but then when the Spanish people came, i think it was my moms grandmother that was Spanish..

My grandma was not aware that my lolo is already courting her.
Punta lang ng punta sa bahay kausap ang parents niya while siya naghahanda ng food
and the next thing she know sinagot niya and nagpakasal sila. I'll ask for the details kung pano niya sinagot

But anyway natawa nga ako sa reason ng lola ko kasi kaya nia pinakasalan lolo ko just para daw may makasamang lalake mga parents niya sa bahay since all of his brothers got married na. Kung baga 100% umiibig lolo ko while my lola is 50% lang .

Super spoiled siya dun sa lola ko. As in ganito ang sentimiento niya *ayoko maghirap, pag ako naghirap , maghiwalay tayo" ganyan statement lage ng lola ko sa lolo ko kaya super spoiled siya.

Nung nagpunta siya sa india pra sa isang scholarship super supportive ni lolo. Lahat ng request ni lola pinapadala.

all i know is that the first settlers of my "surname" are spanish,,

hahaha.. pero ang layo layo ko na.. so malamang .0001 % nalang ang spanish sa blood ko..

hahaha that part about the 100% love and the 50% love made me laugh Are they both still alive?

As for me, my grandma kept telling me about how when she first saw an airplane (a fighter jet, i think), she and her sister were playing outside. Then she said, "Makakasakay din ako dyan!" and her sister said that she probably wouldn't be able to.

My grandma DID get to ride an airplane -- more than a few times. And her sister? She has never boarded a plane.

And when she was 4, she told her mother that she wanted to be a "maestra". She did become a teacher

     roots ng family namin on my mom's side starts back from spain. our family hired someone to trace our roots daw. i know it'll take years for him to give us something . all we know right now is that our family has its own crest.

My dad is half chinese/half igorot..so his a chinese mistizo..While my mom hasa spanish and arabian decent but she was raised in a very filipino way(mixed with filipino blood)I can be part of the united nations!!!hahah..Yes, I am proud of my heritage
