Gown Disaster!

Well, in my case, hindi mahaba ang gown ko. dress lang kasi sya as in. maikli talaga as in. kaya sa sobrang ikli, pinag-leggings ako ng mama ko. ayan tuloy parang hindi ako aattend ng prom haha. kakainis eh.

mahaba talaga yung gown ko.sayad siya sa floor at may buntot. i was 3rd year back then. kagagling ko sa speech for the acceptance of the key of responsibility ata yun.
then pabalik sa upuan ko with my escort, then suddenly natapakan niya yung gown ko.then ayun parang may narinig nakong napupunit na sound. nung tinignan ko punit yung buntot ng gown ko. maluluha na ako kasi simula palang ng prom iyon. pero nakamove on din ako at inenjoy na lang yung prom. and it went well

i also had a heck of gown disasters during my senior prom.

the first one was about my gown . I had this sharp edgy kind of ring kasi and it whenever i put my hand down it always finds a way to tear a sequin or run through the cloth so before the night was over i had lost a lot of sequins and my gown has this rough to the touch texture on some places.

the other one was about my closest friend. it was dancing time and they had on this Disco-type of music so most of the seniors gathered around and we were dancing in a train-style all around the ballroom then when we got on stage we where dancing kinda wildy and i accidentally stepped on my friends gown which caused her to trip face first in the dance floor, good thing we just laughed it off.

Masquerade kasi yung theme ng prom namin. Halos lahat ng mga classmates ko at mga ibang section kasma na rin dun
ang 4th year mga bongga ang gown,, kaso di ko napaghandaan yung gown ko.
di ko nasabi agad kay mommy na mag patahi na ako. yung gown kong ginamit, hiniram ko
lang sa cousin ko 1 petticoat lang. Pro ang mga suot ng mga students.. pam ballgown tlaga yung bongga mga 5 petticoat.. halos di na sila makaupo ng maayos. nahiya naman ako sa partner ko.

Ako naman, ang design ng prom gown ko ay katulad kay Taylor Swift yung sinuot niya sa CMA. Chiffon siya. Simple lang. Di ko kasi type yung puffy gowns. So binigay ko yung design sa magtatahi ng gown ko. One of the best siya sa lugar namin so pinaubaya ko na sa kaniya. Noong nakita ko na ang finished product, na disappoint ako kasi iba na ang design sa upper part and iba rin yung kulay!! Nagmukha tuloy akong bride. Tsk! Sabi niya flesh ang color para feminine talaga pero CREAM yung labas. Kainis kasi hindi niya sinabi sa'kin na iibahin niya ang disenyo. !@#$ lang. Hahahaha. Pero the prom went on. Bahala na.

I just remembered yung prom ko during my senior year (that was around 3 years ago), yung isang spaghetti strap ng cocktail dress ko naputol. Then para hindi maging awkward, I also detached the other strap, making it a tube dress. Tapos habang gumagalaw/naglalakad ako, I've realized that nahuhulog na pala yung dress ko. So I asked for a couple of safety pins from my Filipino teacher and kept my dress in place by pinning it together with my bra. So I thought okay na.

A couple of hours passed and we're gonna perform for our seniors' ballroom dance. Tapos habang sumasayaw ako, napapansin kong nahuhulog na uli yung dress ko. Good thing di nakikita yung harap ko and yung sa likod lang yung nahuhulog. I think I'm gonna die in front of my partner because of that. Haha.
