I am studying in a catholic school and yung prom sa amin, yung teachers ang nagaasign ng partners at sa gymnasium lang magaganap ung prom... Tapos yun lang ang alam ko... Eh...  :)

Catholic ako pero regular prom naman kami. Of course we were told na may mga certain styles ng gown na bawal, pero at the prom may mga pasaway pa rin. Pero ok lang naman.

I think the only conservative thing samin nun eh bawal outsiders to be our dates. Pero may nakalusot pa rin. Yung boyfriend ng isang friend ko nun eh nakapasok. He's in college. He was an alumnus of our HS though. But still technically eh outsider na sya :)

Meron akong college friend nakwento nya sakin yung prom raw nila UMAGA. Kasi ayaw daw sila pagkatiwalaan na gawin ng gabi. Haha okay that's so weird don't you think? Haha!

I studied at a Christian School since nursery and yeah.. 'till college. haha

But what I like about having a Christian School Prom is that, although it's a prom... it's still conservative, it's safe but it is slightly... KJ!!! hahahahahaha

You know what, my school in hs never had any prom, ONLY MY BATCH experienced it. and after that... WALA NA ULIT prom dun! hehehe

I sang a lot of songs nun prom namin, mga love songs and kinda rock songs with my band... pero to tell you... may Christian song din akong kinanta pero sakto rin sa theme. Lover of my soul.
and that's Jesus!  ;D

So true...

senior guys wear blue polo and junior guys wear pink polo. girls did have the blue and pink color coding too but our batch broke the record when we suggested that all pastel colors should be included.

our partners are handpicked by our teachers (most of the time they pair you with a guy compatible to your height, sometimes teachers also tend to "trip around" and pair you with the ones you have a crush on). guys are required to bring flowers for their partners.

our prom is a bit conservative but we did have fun.  ;)

Err. ASAR talaga yung mga ganun.. 10:30 PM natapos.. ganda noh?! 4 hours lang prom namin nun.. Er. Pero masaya naman. :]

I think ours was the strangest prom. I'm from the province, and our school was run by Chinese priests and Taiwanese nuns (triple whammy, right?). So for our school, our parents attended the prom and the guys danced with their moms, the girls with their dads. Talk about major chaperone. It's a really original concept but kind of strange right?

^Wow, I've never heard of this until now.. I thought our prom was the most KJ ever pero hindi pala. Ano yun, you never had a chance to dance with your schoolmates?

I'm studying in a catholic school too. And bawal din sa min ang sleeveless. But sometime we dont follow the rules. Bwal din maginvite ng ibang mga students. Puro kami2 lang. then mga days before the prom, ichecheck pa ung dress mo, so u have to bring it. Haha!

It wasnt that bad.. then our principal (a nun) kept on checking if the dancers were slow dancing too close to each other then she reprimands them. I was one of those people! :)

I am studying at Paco Catholic School..I am a junior student and we had our prom last February 14! (valentine's day) :D Our prom was held i our school, and even though it was only held in our school it was a total blast! the prom started at 5 pm and ended in 2 am.. cool rule from the school: no one is allowed to go home before 2 am! so we party all night long! "we party like a rock star!" hahaha! :D my partner was a senior and such a gentle man! :))

Lol, Catholic school din kami, okay naman prom namin--bawal lang plunging necklines and backless gowns pero may nagsuot parin nun so wala na nagawa yung teachers except pagsabihan. The program mostly consisted of the passing of responsibilities from the seniors to the juniors.

I guess the part I enjoyed the most was weeks before the prom. You get to count how many people get together in your class.  ;) cute kasi makikita mo creativity nung guys in asking out the girls (kasabwat nila yung teacher ng subject kung kailan sila magtatanong). Fun!  ;D
