Welcome, ψ (Psychology) students!
Welcome also to those who are planning to take up Psychology as future course.
Now, what is ψ?

Psychology (ψ) is the science tht studies behavior and mental processes. Psychology, as a course, is very flexible as it can be correlated with teaching/ education, counseling, business (industrial psych). This means that psychology graduates do not only have job opportunities at clinics and schools. ψ grads can work also in offices and big companies. ψ is also a qualified pre-med or pre-law course.


Misconceptions of psychology:

• all one needs to understand psychology is common sense
• it deals with psychic matters
• it is mind-reading
• study of soul

just wondered what happened to the Psych thread so i decided to resurrect it!!  well, finals na namin i hate stat! but im not gonna be a psychologist if i don't force myself to appreciate ANOVA tables!!

We'll be starting our first psychology reserch this week.
It's a group research kya lang (pwedeng mgsumbong?) my groupmates seems to be uniterested with it. I want to make the research as good as a research work can be!

By the way, our group topic is "N.E.P.G. : Discriminated?"
NEPG stands for nueva Ecija Public Governemnt.. NEPG's are students na pang-evening yung classes since mga scholars sila ng gov't.

im not a psych student (cuz im a behavioral sciences major) but we took up intro to psych last term and it was fun!

behavioral sciences (my course) is similar to ab psych in some aspects. the diff is organizations, instead of individuals, yung ieexamine namin

Depende sa gusto mo eh. Kung saan ka interested.
I might go clinical, and study Special Education.
Industrial's more of human resources.

im glad theres a thread for psycology students. Well, Im planning to take this in college. Mahirap po ba to? what is the difference of BS and AB psycology?

BS (bachelor of science) has more units than BA/AB (Bachelor of Arts) Psych.

Plus, BS Psych can be used as your pre-medicinal course 

Can you please accomodate me why i should take up psychology as my course. What jobs does it offer after college?

aside from it's fun, it's a good course since you learn things and eventually apply them to real life--everyday living.

Well, sobrang flexible yung course na to.
Lahat nf fields pwede tlga..sa school, office, big companies, etc..

Pero depnde yun sa isspecialize mo.

heya... im a 4th year student... i passed my DLSU-CET with BS-PSYC as my first choice... any BS-PSYC student from lasalle here? whats the course like?

i passed the entrance exam at UST but i didnt pursued studying there..im afraid of studying yet away from home..maybe next year(s). 
Highly recommended ba ang psych sa dlsu? no bias answers..hehe

PSYCHOLOGY IS FUN!! super! depends nga lang sa prof.. pero im reading my psych book super fun and interesting talaga.. mapapa-AHHHH, WOOOOOW, DI NGA?, TALAGA?, WHAAAT? ka!!

kung gusto mo ituloy ng law mas magandang kunin ang ab psych.. pero kung sa part ng medicine mas maganda kunin bs psych.. 

hmm.. recommend ko pa rin ang bs mas yun yung parang hinahanap lagi kapag mag-aaply sa trabaho.. depende rin siguro sa tao..
