Banapple's HONEYLOVIN' CRUNCH CAKE (P95/slice)

Had a slice for breakfast today... It's so good! Love the vanilla pound cake & surprisingly, even the cream cheese filling (even if i'm not a fan of it)! The whipped cream topping is good too kasi mixed with pecan brittles (yum yum!)..usually kasi, I scrape it off e, but this one yung icing nya doesn't taste like the usual icing. Ni-chill ko sya muna before I eat it para di tunaw yung cream cheese and icing. Didn't find it too sweet also... Try nyo!!

Fave ko choco cakes but this one definitely made it on my list!

Banapple's BANOFFEE PIE (P80/slice)

Had it for breakfast last Wednesday naman... TWO THUMBS UP! it's uber yummy!! It had generous amounts of banana chunks (which were not overripe) perfectly mixed with dulce de leche. The crust itself was soooo good. It was chewy and you can taste the buttery graham taste of the base-- just the way I like it! The crust tasted different & better than the usuall graham crusts they use in pies in other cake shops. I just had to scrape off the whipped cream coz I don't really like whipped cream, hehe.. but the bittersweet choco shavings on top is something I liked!
Definitely a must try!! I'll back to Banapple even if it's a bit far from us to buy again.. *w00t*

Banapple's FUDGYMUDGYMUD PIE (P85/slice)

I shared a slice with my sister; but unlike the 2 other cakes I've tried (banoffee pie & honeylovin' crunch cake), found this a bit nakakaumay if you finish 1 slice. I ate half lang and felt so full na (di ko kaya kainin 1 buong slice). Medyo heavy kainin kasi it has layers of choco graham crust, choco ganache, topped with whipped cream, choco syrup & choco chips. I had to scrape the whipped cream off though. Pinakagusto kong part is the choco graham crust This cake kinda reminded me of Conti's Choco Overload Cake. But overall, it's yummy pero mauumay ka sa sobrang choco if you eat a lot. SINFUL kainin yung cake!! LOL.  reminds me of batter used when baking...

I prefer the banoffee or honey cake than this one.

^ I'm not a big fan naman.. coz mapili ako with the graham crust. I don't like the crust of those sold in Red Ribbon.. basta hirap i-explain, but the pies of Banapple.. ube rlove the crust kaya na-appreciate ko pies nila.. Will try naman their cheesecakes next time.
