my sister made a soap out of pineapple's skin... inextract lang ung balat..

anyways. ung samen nung 2ndyr HS ako. feasibility of tomato and Calamansi as a soap. eun! nun 3rdyr kalimutan ko na. nun 4thyr walang kwenta. waahaha toxicity of pandan leaves ampf!

2ndyr= kamote tops(talbos ng kamote) juice. (naglasang iced tea)
3rdyr= pinakamalupit(naloko kase ako) potato battery (Woooooh!!! bagong bago) (share ko lang.. pumasok lang ako the day ng defense..)
4thyr= rose jam..(nanalo kame sa contest..own recipe)

  masaya pero mahirap

di ba mas mahirap kung product para sa tao yung gagawin? kasi mahihirapang itest yung product?

we had investigatory projects during my highschool days. boring.

2nd year = it's all about root crops
3rd year and 4th year = study on the health needs of the informal settlers living along the creek

mahirap kasi paper works. pero dun sa pagpunta at pagsurvey sa area, lakas at tibay ng loob talaga. haha. enjoy nga e.

nung 4th yr hs ako we did an investigatory project about rose pigment as the main ingredient in making a paint...yung outcome para lang dye.

when i was in third year, we made something like photuris pennsylvanicus (firefly) for the detection of colon cancer. we reached the regional level of INTEL science fair naman.

then my classmates in third year hs made something like: janitor fish skin transformed into leather. they were successful and even featured on studio 23 a couple of times. they even have the janitor fish leather patented. they also reached the regional level, i think.

and three of my schoolmates won the INTEL international level (and went to the states!) by using sine waves to attract freshwater fishes. but they only won 3rd place. sabi kasi ng judge, pwede daw ma-abuse yung paggamit ng sine waves at magiging cause ng disbalance sa ecosystem. the research is entitled: NEMO: it's a sine. that was way back in 2005.

and my classmate in 4th year hs, along with him groupmates used agar-agar as their subject and won third place in a national level science fair this 2006 in ilocos.

naaalala ko pa. we used to go to UP Manila, Diliman and Los Banos and DOST just to get consultants! haha.

^hmm e.r.i.k.a your from rshs right? are u talking about investigatory projects from research II senior ka na ba? its with ms. crespo right? kung si maam crespo ung teacher nyo sa research mukhang ung ibang project suggestions dito e di papasa sa standards ng investigatory projects for science high schools e best recommendation e ung kay nerd koasi un ung common topics na gusto ni maam crespo. 

i remember when i studied there before usually antibiotics is the easiest among all if you wanna make an investigatory project.  also very interesting din ung entries if your gonna make a project about environmental pollution such as the use of bacteria for oil spills and stuff. 

i remember an investigatory project made by a science high school student na nakita ko sa competition about the use of fungi (forgot the name) in lowering blood sugar levels.  there was also one using a cyanobacteria in determining the levels of gold i think on rivers near plants.  ung sa amin use of sargassum  in phytoremedaition eactually maraming ideas e why not look at past investigatroy projects tapos imodify mo na lang like change the variables that they are using before.

i'll try to give suggestions na lang if I can find anything new.  actually bilib nga ko sa yo kasi ang aga pa nag-iisip ka na ng ip para sa research!!! good luck sa yo!!!

uu... yung mga lotion lotion ekek... maganda talaga food.. madaling magclick sa tao.. shempre habang defense na .. dyan nakasalalay lahat... kung maganda nga yung product.. eh sus ko po naman ang pagdefend mo wala din.. advice ko lang.. pagdefense.. tanchahin niyu yung panel ... pag mejo.. masaya at di mainit ang ulo.. lagyan niyo ng pakwela yung defense niyo.. mga ekek na patawa.. pero kung seryoso.. DONT...
