You don't have to be known to be a mod dear :). I mean when I became a mod, I only had a hundred posts. And I wasn't even known *insert laugh here* :D. It really doesn't matter if you're known or not, as long as you do your job well. And you prove to Ms. Macy that you're fit be a mod ;). Although she isn't looking for mods right now :).

Not necessarily
Let's just say na hindi nga kasikatan, hindi naman siguro papayag yung ibang moderators na may bigla susulpot na moderator in any kind of category dito sa Teentalk (No offense po sa mga moderators ;D) Kasi yung mga ibang moderators, nagpakahirap bago sila napunta kung ano man yung kinapepwestuhan nila. I'm just gonna say it's 50% popularity count and 50% responsibility

Sorry girls, pero hindi na po nagha-hire ngayon ang admin. Miss Macy told us na crowded na ang lists of mod. Yun lang po.

And you dont have to be a moderator to be called a certified Teentalker. just enjoy posting and making friends with the people here.

1st..i know members of ttalk nominated you guys, but who specifically selected you?
how did you know you won or got elected as i may say? may awarding ba naganap? :) or through email lng..

do you get paid to do this job?  ;D

wat is the specific job description? aside of deleting dead-thread and pagsaway sa mga pasaway..wat else do you do?

and wat if you get tired of the job (hope not) can you quit or is there a "contract" of some sort?

pag nag log in ba kau iba ang itsura ng home page...you know meron bang nakalagay na WELCOME JUNIOR MOD  :)

what do you get from doing this job?

thanks..ope all the mods can give their views

No, we don't get paid, So no contract as well, whatever you see, that's what we see too, no special layouts or whatnots.

I got nominated I believe ;)
We can resign whenever we please.

^ Haha! O nga. Sad to say, no salary. LOL. Just kidding.

I also got nominated (na hanggang ngayon di pa rin ako makapaniwala that a lot nominated me)

Aside from deleting, merging and moving threads, siyempre, I warn those pasaway Teentalkers and insist them to follow the rules. I also strictly implement my own rules in the boards I moderate.

SHHHH! u werent supposed to tell! ;D

The only perk (if it even counts as perk) is getting to delete, merge, move and lock threads. Oh, and you can modify posts.

^ I wish our compensation would at least be a free Candy issue every month :) that's good enough for me, so at least I don't need to keep on going out just to buy magazines haha.

Let's suggest this to Ms. Macy, and ask her to forward our plea to the Candy Staff :)
