nag aaral ako ngaun sa madocs BS PSYCHOLOGY un tini take ko kasi gusto ko mag pre med and then okay lang ba na BS PSYCHOLOGY un ni take at hindi ba ako mahuhuli or natatagalan sa pag memedicine?

tsaka pwede paki break down kung ilan talaga un years medicne na course? if BS PSYCHOLOGY ako. ?? then pediatrician yun kukunin ko po

About your concern if mahuhuli or matatagalan ka ba sa med school, it'll depend on you. I have a few classmates who are Psych grads and they're doing pretty good in class despite having a minute background on Anatomy and Physiology. Medicine itself is 4 years (three of which are spent most in the classroom, while the 4th year / senior year is your junior internship wherein your hospital duties take place). I'm not sure how long the residency is for Pedia but basically, medicine proper is 4 years.

Hi! My premed was Psych too and I'm now a first year med student.  I don't have the best grades but I'm passing, so far.  BS Psych as a premed isn't really strong, but don't be afraid of falling behind in class! It ultimately depends on you and your study habits and work ethics.

For first year med students, any tips regarding Biochem? Sobrang hirap ng Biochemistry in our school, ang taas din ng mortality rate when it comes to that subject.  I don't have any background about it back in my undergrad, which is Nursing, that's why I'm really struggling.

Ched Memorandum Order 14 now includes Biochem in the Nursing curriculum.

IMO lang to huh? Sana walang ma-offend or what. Pero tingin ko isa sa mga magandang pre-med ang Pharmacy. Why? Aside sa pagkakaroon ng pharmacology (I&II depende rin kasi may schools rin ata na hanggang III) sa curriculum may human anatomy rin tsaka biopharmaceutics. Meron rin subject wherein tuturuan ka mag compute ng dosage ng pasyente. From those subjects pa lang, especially yung pharmacology na ilang beses mo pa i-take, I think it would be a good foundaion para sa medicine. Mahirap nga lang but kung pursigido ka rin naman, why not? Tsaka safe bet na rin kasi pag di mo na trip mag proceed eh marami namang job offering ang Pharmacy. Trust me when I say MARAMI.

dami akong kaklase na yun pre med nila

sa feedback though, nahirapan sila sa pathology, microbiology, parasitology, genetics and clinical psych
in comparison, the medtech naman nahirapan sa pharma, biochem, ICM and CFM

since medyo malawak ang coverage ng medicine, there's no actual pre-med course that covers all the med subjects. so, piliin mo na lng ang college course na mag-eenjoy ka, then if you go into med, medyo focus ka sa subjects na di mo masyado napag-aralan nung pre med.

ab music
ab english
ba accountancy
ba political science
