:D BTW, mga ates' I have another question. Sa UP ba kailangan mataas talaga yung weighted average like 93, 94, etc? Or okay lang yung 87 and 86? Thanks, please answer :D

Advisable mag-enroll sa review centers. Maraming review centers along Katipunan and Taft(since diyan malapit ang sinasabing Big 3). When you enroll in a review center, tina-tackle nila 'yong usual topics na lumalabas sa exams(sometimes based on the exams of the previous batches. May iba naman na they play games while discussing a certain topic.

When you choose a sched, don't choose the uber early or uber late sched. Pag late May naman, syempre busy ka mag-prepare for school saka that's when UPCAT application starts. Hassle ng konti 'yon kasi dami pang requirements na kailangan from your school. Still, the schedule depends on the review center.

BTW, when the results of the CETs are finally out, don't blame your review center if you didn't pass your dream school. It doesn't matter kung mahal or mura 'yong review center na pinasukan mo. I have classmates na gumastos ng 10 k or more pa yata tapos di nakapasa sa BIG 4. Ikaw naman ang mag-e-exam, hindi sila. It's not about the review center. It's about how you'll be able to shade the right circles. :)

Good luck on your summer review, BATCH 2012! How time flies. Last year, clueless din ako about review centers. After a year, magco-confirm na ako ng slot. Sorry, napahaba ang post ko. Gusto ko lang mag-share ng tips. Hihi. :D

Yeah there are tons of review centers in the Katipunan area because it has UP Diliman, Miriam, and Ateneo near it. I started doing review centers when I was in highschool for geom, and I chose Ahead after trying MSA. I was trying to test the waters and see which would be a good fit for me. No offense MSA goers ha.  ;) I liked Ahead better because the tutorials there meant it was really one on one. So I get to ask all I want and have my tutor explain what I needed. And since kaming dalawa lang, hindi ako mashado nahiya kahit feeling ko ang common sense ng tanong ko.  ;D When I was in MSA, their one one one tutorial was weird. I had other students with me-- ang definition yata nila for one on one is small group and not a classroom. And they're a tad more expensive haha. Anyway, so for my entrance exam, I did Ahead still, and yeah it was great. I passed the ACET. Yung simulated exam ng Ahead was almost like the actual exam so I kinda didn't panic na during the exam.  :D

I know what Nadine means when she said reviews take away your summer, but for mine, okay lang kasi it's just 4 hours a day, it's either in the morning or afternoon. I chose morning kasi wala naman ako ginagawa during mornings. And it's fun kasi I get to see my friends from school and new ones! So parang half day ka at school for 3 weeks or so. Which is super fun kasi you get to hang out after.  ::)

Thank you.  ;)

And. Ano ba ang perks ng nagre-review center? Do you think it's worth it or makakatulong talaga?  :)

Hello mga sis! Incoming 4th year na ako and I'm planning to enroll sa mga review centers. Yung below 10,000, ang mahal kasi nung iba especially MSA ;D Ang balak kong pasukan ADMU, DLSU, CSB, UP and UST (BS Medtech, MMA, or Journalism :) ). Can you please give me tips on how to pass these universities? And yung best review centers for these? Ano yung pinakamahirap ipass and yung pinakamadali? Magseself stude ako buong summer kasi gusto ko talaga makapass ;D BTW, I need din yung about sa scholarships ng DLSU and ADMU? Ano ba ang qualifications para maging scholar? Thanks alot. Sorry ang daming question. Super curious kasi ako and excited ;D

:) Based from experience yan ha. Naalala ko kasi, the day before the UPCAT, friday nun. Don't be too complacent. :)

I'm a Senior College Student na at FEU - East Asia College and I took my college exam review at Mentorsplus Katipunan (classes are held at Ateneo) nung 2007. Tip lang is: wag kabahan and do your best kahit review classes lang yun.  ;D make new friends as well :)

yup, just don't ever get nervous. and review centers actually help. it doesn't mean na just because you went to a review center auto pass ka na, it just means you have a higher chance depending on how you took advantage of the review. kasi the review won't work if you don't actually take it in, right? need to concentrate and learn pa rin. but as for calming the exam jitters, i found my review with ahead super helpful. kasi the review was test based, so parang nag take na ko ng exam, timed per subject and patterned sya on the exam you want to take. they have specific reviews kasi depending on which university you want to go to. soooo it helped me overcome the time pressure panic most people have. :)
