Haha, just the shallow stuff. You need to be atleast 5'4, attractive, perfect skin, nice teeth, fluent in tagalog and english ( when applying for PAL, Cebu Pacific,etc.), You should have communication skills, be extra charming,  know how to swim, memorize the parts of the plane, memorize traveling rules, you should know the best tourist spots in a certain area ( they test you on that. Ex. say a passenger has 5 hours to kill in Manila,  name 3 places he could visit). You better know how to walk in heels, you're gonna be on your feet for an extended period of time.

My mom and godmothers were flight stewardesses, Nakakapagod talaga daw but the perks are amazing. Your family gets discounts when they travel, you get shopping allowance when you have to stay in a  country for a few days and you get to see the whole word. Pretty sweet.

flight attendant is a glamorous job..maraming benefits,high salary demands, pero dapat people oriented ka..ou mahirap din ang training..iba pa ung exam..flight attendant b lng tlaga?..kpag tourism k nman hindi lng as flight anttendant..pwede k rin s airline reservation ganun..

I'm a Tourism Management student too. Hindi naman kasi pagiging FA lang ang pwede sa course natin, marami tayong options. Ito yung "idea" na gusto alisin samin ng mga proffesors.

About sa legs, uhm, yes dapat flawless ka kasi one of my profs nag try sa PAL, hindi siya natanggap kasi may scar siya sa tuhod. Kinakapa po talaga. Kahit UA, chinecheck pa.

im a tourism student! here's some stuff that i know ... well, for FA (flight attendants - that's the proper way .. as they say) in local flight should be at least 5'3" in height ... and for international it's 5'5" w/o the heels of course ... limit for heels is up to 1 1/2 - 2 inches only ... well different airlines have different way of screening ...in cathay pacific i think you have to be really maputi ... and part of the screening is you have to wear their uniform .. if it fits you and looks good on you, you pass that part. there's this part that you will be ask to reach the compartment or put a baggage in it ... it you're able to reach it w/o having a hard time ... you pass .. my friend told me that her cousin failed this part kasi tumingkayad lang siya konti ... this is weird and i don't see the essence of this but some airlines would ask you to show them your legs ... even your whole body w/ only undies and bra on ... but all are girls naman ... and by the way ... i think this is an sop to all ... that you must be 10% lighter than the average weight for your height and age ... so that means if the ave weight is 50l .. you have to be 45. some airline would also require that you are fluent in a least one foreign language esp french ... ano pa ba ... ayan lang naman ... sa ipin pala bawal yellowish and may sira or misalignments ... you also have to be good in communicating esp in english .... and of course patient .... well, as i said b4 .. different airlines have different standards ... working as an FA is great ... and you earn a lot (mostly int'l flights) ... and get a lot of benefits ... but then you retire at an early age ... 35 i think. but they can also put you on a position like in their office ...

well ... masaya ang maging FA .. kita naman ... yung mga higher batch sa akin na FA na ... sosyal na .. heheh! but i suggest that if you are taking up tourism ... there's more to it than being an FA ... tourism is a very broad industry ... though some may not see it and think that if you take tourism ... you'll just be a flight attendant
