�People who share my birthday are always dubbed as the "one with the February 29 birthday". Interestingly enough, acquaintances and people from way back in grade school always remember me for my birthday. But when do I really celebrate it?

Every four years, I get to choose one date in the calendar to be "legally" mine, so like people with regular birthdays, I get to cross out one specific date in my calendar and doodle balloons on it.

On non-leap years though, my birthday falls on a millisecond between February 28 and March 1. Personally, I always claim March 1 as my pseudo-birthday, as it comes right after February 28. But most of my friends get confused and tend to greet me on the 28^th, then again on March 1 (it also gives those who forget my birthday an excuse to greet me a day later). And of course, I don't mind getting gifts on both days either!

So whether it be February 28, 29 or March 1, I still get to have a birthday. After all, celebrating your birthday does not mean limiting it to just one day.
