Step 1: Start with a clear base coat to prevent nails from turning yellow. Apply polish in three strokes: one down the middle, and one on each side. Let dry.
Step 2: Create your French tips using white polish. Paint the tips of your nails from side to side in one even, crescent-like stroke. Let dry.
Step 3: For that extra protection and shine, finish with a sheer pink shade as a top coat.

4. Teacher Marj says:: eversince my senior year in HS, I have had long nails. I have tried French tips A LOT of times. To make them perfect, I tried to use "masking tape" as borders. I shaped them like a cresent and placed them over totally dry clear polish.. It was cheap and easy. Plus, I was very proud na I did it myself..
